I haven't been there, but folks on Metromix and a few other sites seemed to like it a lot. They're open until 10pm on weeknights, and 11pm Fri & Sat.

Went to Baskin Robbins over the weekend. Good grief, they don't know what ice cream is. I'm still searching for a decent place. Might be as elusive as real bread or real chocolate.

I have a couple. Ghirardelli's on Pearson and Michigan (behind the Borders) is open to 10 during the week and 12 on the weekends. Sometimes they give away free sundaes late at night during promotions. The Cheescake Factory underneath the Hancock has an unbelievable dessert menue (two or three full pages) and is open till 11:30 during the week and 12:30 on weekends. Another great one is L8 on W Ontario (200 block or so I think). Tues-Thurs they are open till 12, 2am on fridays, and 3am on saturdays. They have a decent selection plus they have really late hours.

I'll be there Sunday night and Monday all day and will have Chelsea in toe (14). any cool things she may like downtown? She's into skateboarding, screamo and cool clothing.

As for my recomendation, Cold stone Creamery is a great place. A few Ben and Jerry's are open late as well.

Go to Glenview... no really, I'm not kidding.
in "the Glen", there is an place called Via Gelato (across the street from Ben and Jerry's)

They have the most AMAZING Gelato and Sorbeto... home made every day, usually over 20 flavors. The rasberry one feels like an explosion of flavor... many different funky flavors (watermellon, pomegrantes, coffee,e tc)

they also do Crepes properly... banana and nutella.... (Homer drooling....)
