Can someone please post a pic of how their battery is being held down in their 328. My just has rope around it, not something I want. Thanks, John.

    John,

My wife has my camera at this time visiting a friend she has not seen in quite some time. When she gets home tonight I'll snap a pic for you unless someone beats me to the punch.

On my 308s it's a wedge clamp against the battery case at the front base......pretty simple bracket it bolts down to the frame with a well rusted metric bolt....:)

    No picture...it's DARK in there!

This is really a photo I took of the steering rack, but I think it shows you what you need. Just a clamp at the lower front of the battery. -Steve

It uses a wedge clam, and as said before, you can order it. But till then change to a heavy "Bungie" cord. That rope could be eaten up by the acid.

The wedge mounts to a bolt that appears 'welded', upside-down, in the tray. My bolt snapped at the base, so my clamp has nothing to mount to.

You could probably drill it out and run a live bolt in it's place

Drill and tap the tube then a stud would thread into that, if you jammed back to back hex nuts to lock onto it...
