Looks like it was a good time. We sure miss that CS up here! You all need to come up for the next club Breakfast, I am sure we could get a few together for a drive afterwards.

Will certainly try to make it up for a breakfast, but all the cars will be a Crescent.

Who're the cool kids in the first shot?! I'll have to thank Paige for that picture! That must have been taken right before the Black Series pulled on the Stradale a bit. :) What a fun drive! The girls definitely had a blast too.

To all those that don't find the time to get out and run your cars: Wow, how sad. You're really missing out!

No. Just a few high school kids from the hinterlands causing trouble.

    Both alive and well.

Our unofficial Joplin Ferrari Club is planning a drive this Saturday morning at 8:30. We usually head South (nice roads) and stop for breakfast, then head back and get to Joplin 11-12. Anybody is welcome with any car. We are more a casual gathering than a "club." Here is a list of cars of those who have attended, or would currently like to attend.

    1995 F355
    2002 575M
    2004 CS
    2007 Mercedes Black Series
    Lotus Esprit
    Lotus Elise
    BMW Convertible
    Mercedes 500(?)
    Corvette
    Possibly another 575M

Not a bad list for small town Joplin. If anyone is interested please PM me and I will give meeting location and directions.

I agree...not a bad list--but how could you leave out the Challenge Stradale? Are there 2 575M's in Joplin?

Check out the 3rd car in the list. I got the Stradale. Yes, there are 2 575M's in Joplin now. I bought mine a few months ago. I heard a rumor yesterday about an F50 in town, part of of large collection and probably not driven much. Although the rumor is probably true since this collection is quite extensive, it is uncomfirmed at this point, but I plan on asking around a bit.

you guys need to figure out a way to stream live video from the drives... that would be nice for those of us in a relative vacuum when it comes to f-cars...

The Yellow Lotus belongs to Jim.

Nice drive on Saturday. We need to do it again before all of the leaves are gone.

ok, nope, wrong 3 letter "J" person. Thought it might have been Joe, a guy that works for KCPL in the greater KC area. If it was I was going to tell you I'd been 150 in that car. Tell "J"im he has a fine automobile.

I'll bet sports cars in and around Joplin are HELLA fun to drive in the ozarks. Wish we had curvy roads in Wichita rather than the infamous grid of streets.

I have only been here for 2 years, but I keep finding awesome roads all over the place. Moved here from San Diego, which does not have much to offer with all the congestion. I don't miss CA at all. Plenty of great roads here in Joplin, very little traffic and beautiful scenery.
