Just got back in the States - Dropped off the Scud and it is due here in a few days. Hit 182 on the Autostrada on the way to Modena for the drop off - and it was still pulling hard. The secondary roads were awesome and sliding the Scud around the mountain passes and switchbacks was incredible. What a blast - when I get some rest I will post more Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, whatacar! Congrats. Silly question of the day: isn't there a "break in" period? Just about ever other new car (engine) has one... wondering if doing 182 on a brand new motor is considered bad or perhaps somehow might effect the warranty. I really don't know; just curious. Again, congrats.
you are what we in the industry, call THE MAN!!! out of curiousity, what color are the calipers? i also like how the racing stripe has dual personalities, sometimes you see it, sometimes you don't!
Thanks for the comment - It is hardly a "new" engine given that the factory run he engines at redline for 3 hours and then takes them on a break in beating for 50-100 kilometers and then makes adjustments, etc. I have never been concerned (this is not my first Ferrari). In fact, none of my Ferraris have ever been babied - they are run hard out of the box - and I have never had a problem. Cheers.
The calipers are black. The stripe was done to my personal spec/sample - and your reaction is precisely how I wanted it - Thanks for noticing!!!
I'm not a big fan of stripes on Scuds (or anything else, for that matter), but those look awesome! well chosen. keep enjoying the new ride! drive safe
Very very cool!! It sounds like your trip was a blast. How do the back roads there compare to the back roads in NY and CT? Btw I like the darker stripe on yours....very good choice!
Did you get the Scuderia stripe luggage with your car? Was not a fan of the stripes on the car initially but now I think the Scuderia just doesn't look complete without them. More 'local' pictures from over there would be nice... CH
Fierce!!!!!! Sick!!!!! Unmatched!!!!! and WOW!!!!!!!! Congrats on the Scud and glad to hear you could enjoy her on the Autobahn near the limits without worries! I hate having o wait for track days to really push my 360, we need some Autobahns here in the US!! More pics please!!! Robert
Incredible machine. Congratulations! Out of curiosity, whats the deal with picking the car up at the factory? Is there any savings, or is there any addition cost? How was the experience? Thanks man
