Back to racing >>>> with the LeMans break over, it's back to racing for ALMS. This weekend finds the cars on the "new" "old" Lime Rock track. Intersport is running a second prototype car this weekend. Here's the info for race coverage:

The 2 hour and 45 minute race begins at 2:05 p.m. (ET), Saturday, July 12, 2008. TV broadcast is on SPEED Channel, tape delayed starting at 12 pm ET, Sunday, July 13. MotorsTV will air the race live throughout Europe on Saturday, July 12. The race will be broadcast live on XM Satellite Radio Channel 144 starting at 2:00 ET, and live on American Le Mans Series Radio at www.americanlemans.com. You can also go to www.imsaracing.net for coverage for practices, qualifying and the race.

Can't wait to see the changes at Lime Rock and hoping for cooler temperatures.

OOP'S - Intersport not running second P car until Mid-Ohio the following weekend. GT2 class will be less Corsa (430) and Black Swan (Ford GT).

Nine P2's - that should be an exciting class to watch. Hope Gil deFerran does as well here as in Utah.

ill be there for the i think 4 year in a row they have held this event...can't wait! its a great show and a good chance to get up close to the cars that you see on TV. Shame about the 430 and the ford GT..i was curious as to how the ford GT looked and sounded like in person.

the robertson's Ford will be there - looks okay but is often a rolling road block on the circuit - the GT2 race will be as normal -> #62 Ferrari vs Lizards #45 (Jorge & Wolfe) - we will be there late tomorrow afternoon
