No, I'm just adding some balance to the argument. You guys basically have proof of absolutely NOTHING, yet you're still setting out to ruin the kid's life.

Get the confession from him first, then ruin his life.

Gibby admitted to doing it in the video. You can see the stream of piss running down the car and onto the ground. Steve (camera guy) has been posting all over the internet that Gibby did it "but was drunk - give him a break" - how many confessions do you want from them?

Ruin his life? That's a stretch. I see a bunch of guys that want him to face the consequences of what he has done, and it looks like that will happen given the newspaper article cited earlier.

Wow, a lot of pent up anger over what? Someone pissing on a car? Oh excuse me, it was a Ferrari, not just a car, and he and his friends are not showing remorse. Is that the gist of it? Does that mean these kids should be beaten up or shot dead?

Guys, come on! The kid pissed on a car and for that he should face the consequences, fair enough. But what should the consequences be? That is the issue which some of you seem to be having a real problem with. You really think this should result in a permanent police record or saddle him with employment difficulties? Wow. Some people need serious anger management.

Hand him over to the authorities along with the evidence that will make it easy to prosecute. That's it.

Showing up at his house, ruining weddings, public confrontations and lynchings, these are all mindless, boorish fantasies smacking of small-penis syndrome. George george, how lacking in the trouser department are you? You seem to have real big internet muscles, threatening kids. You stud.

INFORM THE COPS THEN LET THE AUTHORITIES DEAL WITH IT.

Unless you are a coward. That's right, doing any of the other things fantasized about on this thread makes you a petty, vindictive coward. Don't try and dress it up as justice. It's just cowardice and mob mentality and makes you a far bigger loser than this punk.

I have enjoyed reading this thread, but also am anxious. I dont like the threats and these will be viewed badly. see the headlines in the news that we are threatening action of a far worse nature than the original offense http://www.stcatharinesstandard.ca/ArticleDisplay.aspx?e=1107559 . That makes us a lynch mob and turns us into the bad boys, not a group pointing out a wrong action. Equally there is no need to use the same nasty comments back about peoples sexuality etc.

We can have people on our side by just using the argument and using the law. We loose a lot and get Ferrari owners a very bad name by continuing to issue threats No matter how empty. Indeed we may well be breaking laws by doing so.

Checking in from Beyond.ca, part of the team who caught the claw!

But to put in my point, first of all whoever just said he should pay the consequences by turning him over to the police instead of all that's said to come to him, and then saying it's stupid that the kid should be given a permanent police record... Just think about that for a minute....

    ...

    Has it kicked in yet?

Secondly, most of the people in this forum I assume own 150+K ferrari's, and are pissed(ahha) that this ******* would disrespect someones car. I can believe that, considering I own a NISSAN 240SX, FAAAAAAAAAAAAR from anything spectacular, yet I LOVE my car to death, and if I found anyone pissed on it, I would go through the same lengths, regardless of whether my car is a 150K ferrari, or a 5K Nissan. A car is a man's beloved possession, and should not have to worry about little punk pricks with no sense pissing on it.

Great first post. I don't have a Ferrari or anything special, but your post is 100% perfect.

Agree 100%. No matter what the value of the car you still love it. I paid £125 (about $250) for my first mini and I loved it and would have been pretty peeved if anything would have been done to it.

This is unbelievable. Actually, to me, the fact that he pissed on the car is less of a deal than the fact that he arrogantly posted a video of his stupidity and has thus far failed to show any remorse!!! Most of us have done stupid things in our youth. But you learn, apologize, and, when necessary, make amends. When I was 16 years old, my brother and I took a baseball bat and knocked a mailbox completely off the post...we were caught by an undercover sheriff who happened to be in the area at the time. We apologized, bought the owner a new mailbox, and my father put us on a home restriction for almost 2 months (works great for a 16 year old!)...guess what, never did anything like that again!! Now, I look at it and wonder why I did anything so stupid! Had these guys admitted they were wrong up front and agreed to make amends, I would have looked at this whole episode differently. However, the absence of any remorse at all on the part of both the cameraman and the "wetter" shows me that they have neither respect for others (or their property) and see their actions as somehow justified. Because of this, I do not think that this forum has over-reacted...this guy needs to be taught a serious lesson....he needs to face some serious consequences...and it is not just about pissing in public!! Guys like this will not learn without having to face a punishment that to some may exceed the nature of their crime. But make no mistake about it, this guy will continue to "push the envelope" and do even more ludicrous acts if he is not stopped and made to pay the consequences now.

I don't understand you people who say that "its just a car". We are car enthusiasts. Just like those who love their music, their TV, their art, whatever they love. These cars, to most of us, are pieces of art. A symbol of everything we love, right there. Then some jerk decides to come and ruin OUR piece of art that we've worked our asses off since high school for, no doubt you'll be pissed (no pun intended).

And if this doesn't convince you, what if you bought a ~100K painting, placed it nicely right ontop of a nice fireplace in your million dollar house. You come home to see three or four hooligans videotaping another hooligans pissing on your painting. What would you do then? Would your "Ah well, they're just drunk..." really stand up after that?
