Why do Massa supporters come on this thread and complain about the Massa bashing?

Unlike Massa Kimi doesn't need any excuses. He had a bad race. Funny how Massa has a BAD race the excuses start flying (the air pressure thing is funny, I hadn't heard that one yet) but there aren't any for Kimi. I also find it funny that the people who're making the excuses for Massa get all bent out of shape by saying Hamilton doesn't take credit for his mistakes.

BINGO! I said it before the season started, that there will be unrelenting excuses when the manure hits the fan.

Good point - maybe we should start our own thread about how much he has improved and matured and become a significant contender for the championship. I must admit I was not too impressed with him early on in his career, but now I really like him. He certainly is not in the Senna or Schumi league, but IMHO he would be a deserving champion - correction - WILL BE a deserving champion when he wins it this year!

In closing, all I'll say is...
    "GO FLIPPY!!!"

    Forza...

You're in luck, that thread already exists. Just go dig. It was started by his fans as a counterweight to this one.

    Not gonna happen.

    I like that... "What's Kimi's excuse?"

For one, he is part of a TEAM and even said so in the press. "WE made mistakes. WE had a bad weekend. WE made bad decisions..." Always has and will do things this way. No wonder he's so popular in Ferrari.

As for a LEGIT reason why Kimi dropped off the pace? Well I can think of about 4 used reasons, and 4 brand new ones that could have won him the race. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20.

Kimi seems super motivated for Germany. Let's hope it goes well.

It is very obvious that you have some kind of mental illness my friend. Your absence from posting while lurking 2 to 3 times a day also explains a lot. Oh by the way if what you were trying to get across was my salary then you are sadly mistaken, once again.

I was wondering why they didn't change Kimi's tyres to the full wets after Barichello was getting such good performance out of them, perhaps the Ferrari wouldn't have handled them as well, or they figured they would lose time since the rain would be stopping soon.

I was seriously sick to my stomach. I was on the phone with my gf watching the race (yeah.. she's a keeper) since I'm out of town visiting my family and she just kept saying "Why didn't they change Kimi's tires! Oh no! Why is he still out there?" And then that became "God, his team are so fxcking stupid!" when he fell off the pace as the rain came down.

I couldn't even speak, I swear. I was in shock. Ugh! I explained to her about the race engineer as well as the team principle making decisions, its not always the driver's decision. And how Ferrari have the WORST weather predictions ever. EVER! Japan 2007? What the hell was that?!

6 more races to go where the chances of hot weather are less likely. And dare I say it: We might even see some rain.

Just look back at the last race where we had rain (Silverstone) and this thread becomes much more poignant again.

Thats just one bad race in the rain. Name another one where he sucked. I think you are just having a hard time admitting Massa is pretty darn good. Maybe we should shut this thread down.

He had less bad races than Kimi so far this year and he is getting paid half the amount. Yeah, Kimi won the championship last year, but so did Villenueve and look where he is today. Give credit where credit is due.

Massa is still the best #2 team driver today, and maybe the best in history!

Kimi you mean :) ? FM is outperforming the current WDC, a 2x WDC and LH on a routine basis now. Considering the performance of Felipe its a bit trivial to downplay the skill and drive FM is showing and has shown this year. No matter his mistakes Felipe continues to charge and perform, like RACER's do. Hungary put it all in perspective, no matter his engine failure it was a HUGE victory for him and put to rest alot of the flak he has taken.

Im a Kimi fan first, but your statement flies in the face of cold hard facts currently. Very funny though. Lets not forget MS is in his corner.

Thats just a bit of credibility in my book when a 7x WDC has you in his recall on his handy and provides public support. No matter what I have thought at times of FM, the support he gets from MS is quite a compliment and I now view that as giving a FM world title shot a bit more credibility than others.
