for those who may want a classic bugatti but can't afford a real one- just make it by hand! that's what i did years ago and it has surfaced at the fantasy junction website in their inventory section....check it out...the only parts not hand fabricated are the sparkplugs, ignition wire , tires, tubes and ball bearings.

i also restored the simca abarth on sale from a rolling shell many years ago.

What model Bug did it replicate?

Why not post a link or one or two pics?

I am asking because I once seriously considered one of those Argentinian "near exact replica" type 35 cars, before deciding that I really wanted a Testarossa.

Well, from that picture it would seem to look the part.

Type 35, I would guess the B or C from the width of the wheels?

    My mistake, the 37 - 4 cylinder version of the S8 35.

But at that price, well - another pipe dream, right up there with the James Coburn 275GTB4.

You know some people are happy to collect bottle caps for a hobby.....

This car is just mind-blowing! Just staggering the detail and workmanship.

It is amazing to think that this car was a contemporary of the Model T Ford.

Wonder if they would give me a $200K discount because my birthday is September 15th?

    Very Nice!

Does it have any original parts?

I recall a commentary at an auction a few years ago (possibly this car) that the car at auction while a replica, had more original parts than some "REAL" Bugattis LOL
