This is pure self promotion, I admit it. The Houston Chronicle has a new poll where you can vote for your favorite Houston winery. I know many of you have been to my place and I was wondering if you'd be willing to cast your vote. You can do so here: http://www.chron.com/entertainment/dining/ Circle S Vineyards Thanks PS - Its REALLY interesting that 1 of the wineries they have listed hasn't been open for over a year and another one never opened
I have not yet had a chance to visit your winery, but I voted for you anyway. I will come down from Austin one of these days in my Fcar. Cheers and good luck!
Done. And done! We'll have to stop by next time in town. You're actually not too much farther down 59 than my wifes favorite store. The Off 5th Saks outlet! Dave
Not from Houston, don't really drink much wine, but I went ahead and gave you a vote, since anybody who drives a GT4 is a stand up guy in my book. Good Luck with it!!! Dom
Just voted Dave, you're White House Winery, right? Just kidding. Placed my vote. Dana will be in your neck of the woods at the end of this month. I'm trying to take off from work to tag along with her and bring the kiddo. We'll give ya' a heads up if so, we can finally visit you instead of you always having to come down here, lol.
Voted. Cleared my cookies then voted again. EDIT: Ok Dave, I've voted you into the lead. Deleted my cookies many times. Your wine better be good!
While "eating" *just* 5 cookies, couldn't help but notice the -5.8% deficit turned into a 4.3% lead. *Snicker* Who, me? What? Do I know you? Mmmmmm, cookie... Image Unavailable, Please Login
<LAUGHING> Thanks Jim, ok I admit it, I did the same Come on down and share a bottle Thanks to everyone else I do appreciate it
Vote early and vote often - that's the Chicago way. I think I know of a few dead guys I can get to cast a vote or two as well...
Thanks for the invite Dave, but I don't like Houston in the summer! Is your wine for sale anywhere in the Dallas area?
It should be interesting. The poll started Tuesday. We just found out today, the Chronicle didn't tell us this was going on. It wouldn't surprise me if none of the other wineries knew. We put a 'blurb in our newsletter which went out today. I'm sure Messina Hof's mailing list is 10 times the size of ours. Once they find out, if they do, it'll be "game, set, match"
