Looks like we are up to about 20 total cars for this run so far and growing.... Those of you who have been to the Crab Deck can you comment on the quality of the food? Thanks.

Jim, Just made a reservation for 50, we will have crabs and a buffet for the non-crab Kosher crew :) I think they have a 200 seat room reserved for us, not sure if thats the cool room or not.

Awwww dont break my heart ED. We po folk cant afford big boats ;) This is a fun run with like minded auto enthusiasts, fast cars, crabs and beer. So if you do come, dont bring the slow car :)

We recently dined there w/the Viper Club. I have to say the food, service (and value) was exceptional. This is the 2nd year we were invited. The cost this year was $35 pp which included tax and gratuity. The menu (all you can eat in a ~3-hour event) consisted of all you can eat crabs (mostly large - medium, no small ones), corn on the cob, various salads, sodas, iced tea, hamburgers and hot dogs.

They also cordoned off the parking lot for what seeemed to be 50+ Vipers (and one lonely Ferrari). :))

BTW, we met in Annaplis and traveled in one long caravan. Also, Viper drivers are a bit more "spirited" drivers than the Tifosi, IMHO (in my humble observation).

Event Tip: Drive through the EZ Pass express lanes when crossing the Bay Bridge (even if you don't have a EZ Pass toll transmitter). If you don't have EZ Pass, no problem -- they will send you a bill in the mail.

We may try to join you!

Thanks for the feedback. Actually the reason I picked them was the "Viper Meet" pics on their website :) And great tip about the EZ pass lane. We have a few Annapolis guys who are meeting us as we caravan out of Rockville, so maybe we will make a pitstop there to round up more attendees. It would be great if you could make it, always been a fan of the "redhead" We drive fairly spirited as well, but Im bringing my fiancee on this one and I dont like nail marks in my leather so we will be cruising. :)

I'm sure he begged you, that sure sounds like something Stu would do.......Let me prove once again why you're a moron. Why would you "ask to be banned" from a site? Just stop going to the site, duh. And it's not like you can stay away anyway......all you do is come up with alternate screen names and probably post from different computers.

Was someone making a deal about there being "not so higher end cars" on this rally? In my eyes, a REAL car enthusiast is a car enthusiast. Doesn't matter what you drive, so long as there is a rooted passion.....A zonda owner should have no problem kicking it with a yugo owner, so long as they are both grown up and are enthusiasts.

I have it on good authority that chicks dig Ed's slow car more than the fast car . . . .

yes, it does matter what you drive. are you telling me everybody should be interested in every car? i don't like chevys, i like mopars so i only go to carlisle on mopar day (this weekend). i never go on chevy day. because i'm not a car guy? no, because i could care less about chevys. i'd like to know what world you hang out in where the zonda owners "kick it" with the yugo owners. not in my world.

Maybe you misunderstood, my friend. Per your url above it seems as if I cant look at hot chicks, which is quite the contrary, any man likes to look at hot chicks. But I guess im above needing my vehicle to have them look at me, which is what your buddy Bryanp is suggesting. I thought this site was for the "big boys" who didnt need cars to make them feel as if they "still have it" You cant possible represent the current F-Chat demographic. Maybe you need to check out this forum,

We are leaving Rockville around 10:30-10:45 and possibly stopping in Annapolis to pick up a few more, so I think we will realistically be there right around 12ish....

settle down, big guy. If you knew the car we are referring to, you'd know that my comment was completely sarcastic.

You can post a pic of Luigi any time now, Ed. . . .

Boy you guys sure are testy this week.

did someone stuff a crab in your shorts?

And nope, I'm not going to this event. Don't eat crabs, don't like hot restaurants, and especially don't like Chevys.

On the upside, I think you can be pretty certain that msoltanian won't be there either.
