    Hello all. Does anyone have an amp installed in the passenger foot panel in a 328? Any other good locations aside from on top of the spare tire?

    Maybe in the rear boot where the Microplex is. Not a lot of places unless you want it to be seen - you
    could get a 'pretty' amp and put it where the targa top gets stowed. Maybe under a seat? Passenger
    foot panel probably ok if you have short passengers :) My experience in my own 328, the amp would
    get pretty kicked up though. Or just get rid of the spare tire! Not a bad space, and how often really
    do 328s get flat tires that you'll change on the road anyway?

    Best spot is directly under the seats out of the way. I have one for my sub woofer and an amp for my speakers. You will need an amp that is less than two inches thick. Wiring is easy to hide within the shift console.

    There is an amp in my car, installed by a previous owner. It is located behind the seats on the rear fire wall. It is located so the targe top fits in its storage position. However, I never use the radio.

    Can you still move the seat back and forth with the amp under there?

    Mine is in the rear zipper compartment with the 10 disc changer. Its a waste - I never turn on the radio.
