That last one is badass, rmk. If only you took the picture just a second or so later when that guy would have noticed what on earth was driving past him.

Not just any solar powered car either, heard on the news it cost a cool million to build.

I'd rather have a couple f cars and pay the gas money.

Saw a few random cars this weekend:

    89 lotus Esprit - Red
    newer Lotus Esprit - Black
Aston Martin V8 conv. - black
    Lambo murc - yellow
    Bentley Flying Spur - black
    Bentely GTC - baby blue
    Ferrari 348 spider - black

Blue 430 on QE2 this afternoon around 2:00. Turned off at Ma-Meo Beach turnoff. Any idea who it may be ? Gave the wave to him. Seemed like a very friendly guy.
Part of the ZR group I believe

On 14th today, I saw something that I've never seen before, and have no idea what it was. I was guessing a Buick, because it nearly looks like the Blackhawk concept (picture). The grille was narrower, but still split, however. It was much more upright. Anybody know what it was? Same colour as this, too.

Nah. Would have recognized that. Looked like the Buick I posted above, or a '50's Bugatti (but I know it wasn't that – didn't have a horseshoe grille).

That's DuesenBob.....he built a 3/4 scale Duesenberg and then tackled the Chrysler Atlantic, the car you saw. The car is simply amazing and was built in his two car garage....the man has skills.

    It's a Bugatti 35A
I talked to the owner and he said that its original but he had to modify the front end in order to meet the safety regs when importing it from the states. He also had to add gauges and replaced the engine with a 1960's VW engine of some sort.

Sounds like the same guy who had a 308 Ferrari and had to replace and upgrade everything with Fiero componants and engine. Wise move!

What safety regs would there be on a car of that age? I smell something funny, similar to what Glen is alluding to...

David, I am not sure if you were joking or not but I hope you don't believe this. :)

Pre-war Bugatti's are highly collectable and expensive. No one would do this to a real one.

The top mechanism was manufactured from the flap system of a small aircraft. Bob is a genius.
