Hello all: Please dont flame me- I tried to do a search for speakers and only found one thread on a 308.. I apologize if this is stickied somewhere- I've had my car for a little over a month and although I love the sound of my Tubi exhaust, I am wanting to hear some good driving music...particularly on the freeway... My 96 F355 came with an Eclipse stereo- not sure if its stock or not but the left front speaker (my car only has fronts)is blown and I need to replace it. I picked up a new head unit and plan on buying some speakers. can someone please tell me: A) what size they are so I can buy them before tearing into it.. B) whats the easiest plan of attack and C) is there a rear stock speaker location? many thanks in advance ~T
There are no stock rears that i am aware of. The factory speakers are 6" (This is from memory of reading threads here and i have not taken the speakers out myself, so please wait for someone to confirm before purchasing) They are in a very shallow location in the door, this can be altered if you don't mind doing some cutting. 285ferrari has a great thread on this. I would recommend taking the factory speakers out before you purchase any replacements so you can see what space you are dealing with.

The Eclipse is an after market - same as in my 1995 F355. Let me know how you make out and then I might consider upgrading the speakers as they are very tinny even prgramming the Eclipse to max. sound quality.
