    Can anyone tell me if the following parts are matt black or gloss black as standard on the 348? The front grill between the spot lights, the engine cover grill and the rear grill covering the lights. Mine have been badly sprayed by a previous owner and I want to put them back to standard. There are almost no other 348 in Dubai for me to take a peak at and find out for myself!

    Cool. Thanks guys. It makes it sooo much harder when you don't have a good car to compare with. BYW from the first pic posted the engine cover appears to be body colour. Not sure if that's standard but it looks good.

    Hi,

    The early cars (tb & ts) all had the solid part of the engine cover in Satin Black, the slats were painted body colour.
    Also the front and rear valances and the sills were painted in Satin Black as well (as in the last pic). The later cars (GTB, GTS and Spiders were all painted body colour, a lot of the early cars have been repainted in the body colour!!

    Cool. Thanks to everyone. for the record I'm going with Satin black for the front and rear grills, with body colour for the engine cover slats. My lower valances are body colour already, so no worries there.
