Hey guys, I tried a search, but had zero luck. I was wondering if anyone knows or may know where to find information and stats on 348 and 355 model specific break downs. for example; define what types were made, in what year and details of that model specifics. thanks!
For the 355, search - OBD 1 - and start reading every thread. There is a lot of info there. For the 348, someone else will have to help ya.

Alot of that info is an educated guess---I have yet to find the REAL production numbers for various cars and model breakdowns... If you ask 10 different people how many 99 355 Spiders were produced--You will get 10 different answers....
i bet, im not so much concered with how many were produced but more so what models were made and how each model differs. ie 355 gts, targa top

The 355 Challenge car is a pretty much a stock 355 Berlinetta. HUGE talks regarding the info/stats on these cars over the years man. There was a recent thread in Aussie land regarding this. Ill try and dig it up for you. Only so many came from the factory with the "challenge kit". I dont think anyone can actually confirm the CORRECT number, hey Robbie? The remainder of the 355 Challenge cars were stocko 355's, sold to the dealers with the "challenge kit". The dealers then fitted this "challenge kit" and sold the cars to customers. "Challenge kit" consisted of bigger brakes front and rear. Speedline wheels. Roll cage. Rear spoiler, 'quicker' steering rack and different oil cooler by memory. Probably more, but I am off to bed. A little tired.
Also, the 355 had the Serie Fiorano made (around 100 or so) with some grouped options as standard. This is the most expensive 355. The 348 had: 348 ts - 1989-1992 348 tb - 1989-1992 348 gts/gtb (not in the USA) 1993/1994 348 spider 1994-1995 348 challenge 1994? 348 speciale 1995? 348 GTC (competizione) 1994 I think 49 produced. Note that 348s tb and ts were in fact produced for the US for model year 1993. They were the Speciales. Speciales were produced for model years 1992-1994. The 1994 US-spec Speciales were ts only. The 1994 US-spec Challenge cars were tb only. No 348s with the designation GTB or GTS were manufactured for the US market.
