He wants $20K for it---Offer him $15K-----Sell it off as parts and anyone who knows a little bit about marketing strategy should come out ahead...Ebay will become your friend!!

 

Several years ago, there was a guy who offered a conversion kit for sale that would bolt a SBC to the transax of the 348....somewhere out of GA, IIRC.

Body and interior seem at least decent, would almost feel bad parting it out. At the right price however, hot rod may not be a "bad" idea. People have spent as much building fake and ugly exotics. Power and reliability would be way up, with running and maintenance costs way down. An LS1 or LS2 could be had for cheap and even lower the weight! Though having a chevy behind the seats may just feel wrong also, lol.

I considered purchasing this car and spoke with the owner. It was severely damaged in the rear and the quarter panels and bumper have been repaired. The real damage is to the motor which is off it's hinges and pushed into the fuel tank. I suspect the gearbox is toast too after my conversation with the bloke.
