After having returned to my home I checked my e-mails. Yes, it was you who pointed at the headrests and the minichamps model. Well done! Nevertheless, I remember having discussed 1120002 with posteriore140 years ago. He's a very good man, too!

Yes, Paratelli. This pic show the 1120004 seats with its characteristic headrest. In the 1120002 are of the same kind.

    Ciao

Ok, that is 100% clear, you and Christian are right,, good work!

Here's a picture of the interior, clearly naturale, NOT tobacco, agree!

I also belief many cars on display at this Belgium exhibition were owned by Roland d'Ieteren,
the man behind Volkswagen Belgium and Carglass.

And another picture I had in my files of the show, badge, naturale Paratelli headrests.

All LP400 historians: update your files!

Also note the small round turning light, just like on 1120001....in Verde scuro livery that is...

    Even more evidence...

PS: the front bumper fitness is not really production ready either.

A sleepless night also in Italy...

These are tow picture of 1120002 interior. Note the silver selector and the black dashboard. Usually cars with an interior in "naturale" colour have a dark brown dashboard and the selector of the gear lever is always black (both noticed by LC3929!!).

I think the Countach in the brochure is a 1975's car. Its EE plate number is closer to the one of the first special Wolf's Countach than the Wolf's white LP400 #1120006.

Hold on here! this pict shows a red car. Registry shows a silver car with red int photographed by Franco Zagari. Not the same at all. the registry shows a 5 vents car. Someone is wrong.
I beleive that car in curently in OH, USA and Jim Kaminski knows the owner who also has a Muira. Has anyone reached Jim K. to verify if 004 was ever red or silver? Is the owner reading this thread? It should be simple to clarify this.

Hello all, back from Le Mans Classic which was unbelievable, mark your calendars for 2010! I was busy racing in grid 4 so did not have much time to go in the club corrals but I still had a chance to go take a look, there were about 15 Lambos, several Countaches but no periscopas, I took some photos of the S versions, am not into 25th anniversaries. They are paper photos and I will only get them tuesday. Will post pix then.

I met Pierre Le Mounier a pillar of the French Lambo club for decades, he still has his beloved blue Uracco, we had not met since...1984(!) when we were junior members and I got too busy doing the French karting championship.
No Miuras, 2 Uraccos, Edmond Ciclet and his 350GT, 1 yellow Espada, wonder if that is original, some modern Lamborgaudis.

    Until then, best regards,

    Marc

So what else can we say about the history of #1120002?

Is it really the 1974 Geneva Salon LP400? Any pictures of that? with the little square turning lights?

And was it sold through Achilli Motors to Empress Farah Diba of Iran and painted Rosso Granada?

Engine removed/changed at one point and painted yellow again, fitted with the small round turning lights,
    and now in belgium?

what else is there to rewrite?

what about the car on the LP400 owner'smanual?

i have heard the first LPs (lnot only some 2-3 cars, more some 20-30) were delivered without the manual, correct?

Yes the brochure car could be 1120082. This would be great!!!

Very probably the brochure car is not 1120040.

I can say that I received a lot of contemporary photos of 1120082 (many thanks again, posteriore140!!!). Comparing the factory brochure photos and the period photos of 1120082, you can see that there are only two differences:

    1) 1120082 has mirrors, the brochure car not. But the mirrors were fitted later in Japan
    2) 1120082 has different, aftermarket turn signal lights, fitted later in Japan

So 1120082 had exactly the same look as the brochure car when leaving the factory. It definively is a candidate.

I am currently working on the subject, together with Graphicar (Lorenzo). So let's see what we find out...

Now I must leave for a business trip to Italy. I am sorry not to be able to follow the discussion here in the next days.
