Muammar-al Gaddafi's son Seif al-Arab's Ferrari was confiscated when Munich (where he's studying) police stopped him and established that a) his Capristo exhaust was far too loud for road use, b) he didn't have a valid driving license and c) they stopped him several times before with the same issues and he didn't do anything about it. I somehow think the police just wanted to rescue the poor 430... look at that decal, hideous *shiver*

I love wings and decals for race cars, but on a street car? Tacky in my opinion.

On another note, did he not have his license with him or did he not have one at all?

He had an international license which wasn't valid anymore as he already lives in Munich for quite a while and would have been obligated to get a German license.

What an idiot. The rules in Germany are clear. Getting a German drivers license (when you have one from another country) is straight forward and easy. If I managed to get one...so can he

Wonder if he has a diplomatic passport. If so, he'll beat the rap and get his car back. Couldn't tell from the picture whether he had dip plates.

Now that decal just screams "I'm rich, look at me!" as loud as the Capristo exhaust does.

I dig it. Dresses up a black 430, in my opinion.

Because they have no purpose, wing is to glue it to the road at high speeds, not 70mph. And the decals are for advertising for people watching races, they can be a distraction on the road.

Although i love the look of this car in a picture, i would think to myself, "what a cocky ass" if i saw it on the road.

So *you* were the guy doing 70 mph in front of me on the Autobahn the last time I was in Germany!

    I knew it!

Also, there's a saying in Texas: "it ain't braggin' if'n you can do it."

    Two interesting points here:

    1) Being born in Switzerland does not automatically give you Swiss citizenship, in fact if neither of your parents are Swiss the door is pretty much closed.

    2) Bail for the wife is higher than bail for young Gaddafi Jr. Makes you wonder what she did!
