How can you even tell a real one nowadays? Like it wasn't freakin hard enough to tell the difference between porkers, the owners are completely cannibilising the high-end versions for their need to display how they couldn't quite afford what they wanted. http://aussieexotics.com/forum/porsche/996-gt3s-for-sale-t1767.0.html;msg26327#msg26327 Like BMW "M3"s and Nissan "GTR"s - from now on a modern Porsche is just a Boxster unless I know for sure otherwise. :/
correct, 5 years ago SammyL and I were driving to the Melb GP in my GT4 and we blew one of these "top end" dropped eggs away , in a GT4 ??????? yeah right .... although at $100k+ you would think the GT4 had a chance
well that doesnt really matter, my drive in it was elsewhere but i thought he lived out brighton way... also spotted a new M3 and Granturismo in Camberwell. GT sounded like a VN SS with genie headers
Mercedes Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series. HOT. The greatest engine note I've ever heard: ferocious deep gravelly roar. Also saw a CL63 AMG and Maserati Gran Turismo (Chapel St, of course). Nice spots Luke, hopefully I'll see some of them as well when I'm in Melb in September. A few of mine: Maserati GranTurismo - the nicest one I've seen so far: http://flickr.com/photos/celsydney/2682450876/ Jaguar C-Type - even had the NSW Historical Plates http://flickr.com/photos/celsydney/2681632641/ Ford GT40, I was on the bus though... http://flickr.com/photos/celsydney/2682448550/
Luke, I missed all of those cars on Chapel yesterday. The only thing we saw was a Vantage [VANTGE] and an E63AMG on Lygon St! Cel, I've seen that GT40 a couple of times recently, definitely a replica of course! I saw it on the M4 on Friday and it did sound rather nice! Hopefully I'll see a few more nice cars around Melbourne today!

the second ones actually red, and the other one had the plates A6. The rolls had a widebody kit on it for some ghastly reason...
maling rd canterbury - having a coffee at browns bakery (a different) AMG CLK63 black series...lukes not exaggerating it sounded evil!! @_@
