...there is a photo-shoot of the new California on Telegraph hill (Green and Montgomery)...
California blue ... guarded by cops and Ferrari-peeps.

did not have a camera this morning on my way to work.
I asked a neighbor to go and take pictures...
so, I hope I get some picture proof later....
    Cheers!

i think yall just love to bash on the new ferrari. Yeah, its new and different. What would make you happy, remaking a 275? I think it looks pretty cool, and even though its popular to say you hate it and its ugly right now, I bet when you see one youll feel a bit differently

Thanks for posting... looking forward to seeing this car in person.
Regarding it's looks, IMO the jury is still out.

I know Napolis wouldn't insult Ferrari or PF, but he would be a nice one to take pallet in hand: the CA needs some help.

It really is a feminine looking car:(
Almost loos like a "modified" Miata or mini Corvette...How much is that "thing" again?
IMO, that car will suck the soul from Ferrari's legacy.

I actually like the nose end of the car, 10x better than the blah blah 612.

Really, this car is an SL and Bentley GTC competitor. That said, I think the price ended up on the high side - if I were Ferrari I would uncap production on this model (projecting 10k units+), sell it at $165k (or whatever is the price of the SL65), and roll in the bales of money.

I'm just sorry: see to much of a BMW Z4, and for that price would like more than the excellent internals: PF missed this one. They missed being a leader not a copier.

Agree w/ Rik, forgot about the Z4 (easy mistake)
Almost seems as though it should be in the $135-$155k range like the Aston Martin Vantage conv., although the AM is MUCH better looking

Who'd have guessed that a Ferrari would get a Bangle Butt?

+1 : very front of nose and not much of a 612 fan. But have you seen the funny little top grill work on the hood?

interesting how they do car shoots, and the sun/angles are important too.

But, I'll suspect you not see the rear: using a foreign plate.

It also allows for smooth sharp rolling shots. It is easier to mount the camera to the rig and just use a remote to snap the picture than trying to have a person panning.

hmmm, that is indeed a jib arm... but I dont know that its "mounted" to the car. I could see no reason to do so. it looks like the camera head end is under the car...

    strange.

they certainly ran it up on boards so it could fit under the car. there is no way the car is moving with that under there.
