I sit down to watch some news today at 11:00 EST, and CNN start off their Crawl on the bottom of the screen, with who won the German F1 race

What the hell??? Since when did CNN start covering or even talking about F1 racing?

Anyway... I just thought I'd warn everyone else in America... who is waiting for FOX to show the race at 1:00 EST.

I normally don't come on F-chat pre-race, but I thought it was safe to watch Sunday morning politics on a cable channel (who doesn't have any sports during Late Edition ) and never mentioned F1 before

That just goes to show you, CNN will ruin all types of news, not just the important ones.

Myway.com is my homepage - it is kind of like a Yahoo, without the ads. Anyway, yesterday one of their sports headlines gave away the pole winner from the F1 race. I don't think I've ever seen them with a headline about F1 in all the years I have had them as my homepage.

I guess this is a good thing...?

I have to cover my eyes and ears on GP day in the hours before I watch the race.

I watched (most of) the race and don't even know who won. I shut it off after McLarens obvious team orders.

What you gotta realize is the folks that don't want to know the results/because they want to watch it later - are probably 1 in 1,000 F1 fans. Ok, 1 in 500 maybe.

I'm perfectly comfortable with knowing who won beforehand, because if/when I watch a race, I want to know how they won, and how others did/finished the way they did.

And this differs from Ferrari's obvious team orders (in the past) how ?

What do you expect from CNN (Clinton News Network). They ruin and/or kill everything they touch!

Two lines into their story they said Prost would have finished in the points if not for Schecter's dive down the inside at turn 1. After that I just stopped reading.

The only time I ever see F1 on a news or sports station that doesn't air the race is when Hamilton wins. No further commenting....
