Folks, I have a broken switch in my 355s climate control panel. Does anyone know where just a new switch can be purchased? Thanks in Advance! Michael
I tried Dan at Ricambi and they can only supply the entire panel which is overkill for a switch being broken. The switches I'm referring to are the two round ones at the bottom of the panel. One says "Stop" and the other has a picture of a car with an arrow in it (symbol for recirculation). If you take the panel out, the switches can be removed and they are just a push buttom elec switch. I will try and take a close up pic and post it later. Thanks, Michael
Individual parts for the climate control panel are generally not obtainable. But Eugenio's claims to have them, and can repair the panel. http://emelbon.tripod.com/eugeniosferrariservice.html Crappy web design...but if you scroll down, you will find mention of 355 climate control panel repairs...
Try... http://www.eurospares.co.uk/index.asp http://www.hillengineering.co.uk/catalog/index.php http://www.ferrariclubofamerica.org/classifieds.cfm Hope this helps
I would take either. I swapped my working one over to the "Stop" side since its the same underlying switch on both sides but as it stands right now it's my recirculate button that is broke. -Michael
Can't vouch for the quality of the parts but they do have the individual switches for sale. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/merchant/redlinear
SSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your not supposed to tell anyone about that auction!!! LOL!! I am bidding on 30 items from him... Yes, the entire panel and good luck with the bidding! HAHA!!
no not me----ebay doesn't show bidders names any longer------it is a generic letter/number name they give----only the seller sees the real name
You won't find one unless you buy an entire HVAC panel--unless you know someone who has an extra laying around...
My thought process was this, im going to post some pictures of the actual switch, if we can figure out the manufacturer then maybe we can come up with a low cost alternative to buying the whole HVAC panel just to get a couple of switches.... -Michael
Great idea!! I have experimented with several knobs from different vehicle makes and models and have yet to find one that will work properly... Maybe you will have better luck with the buttons...
