I think i saw that silver G spyder by LUX on sunday around 7/8pm. It was a regular G. This morning , black Z8 on 290.
Sunday afternoon a white AMV8 Vantage on 83 and a red 430 spider on Maple/53 with the F430 on the mirrors painted yellow.
yeah it is, and the sound of the exhaust, firing out 6 tailpipes... I was trying to think of what it sounded like and was going to say an old, but high strung motorcycle ( I had an old Ducati racing bike long ago and that was my initial thought, but it's not that... it almost sounded like an old prop airplane with straight pipes, it was like it was popping with every firing plug.. We took some pics of it roped off early in the day, but at the end of the day it drove past us behind lake forest middle school on the way to a trailer in the rush to turn on the camera and get a pic of it driving all I ended up with was a picture of trees at the edge of the lot.. LCD viewfinders SUCK in the bright sunlight. I'll post some of the pics of it roped off in a bit, just wish I coulda got the camera out in time to have tried multiple times to maybe have had one usable pic of it driving.. Only saw two Ferrari's there, a Mondial coupe (Burgundy) and Mr Rosen (who brought a beautiful yellow 275 last year) brought a 330... think I got a few pics of them both, will resize them an post in a bit
If you want to see one, go to the Auburn Museum in Auburn, IN. It's a great 1 day trip or you can stretch it out to 2 days. They have a number of interesting cars.

Usually i dont care much for Astons other than the Vanquish, but i saw a gorgeous DB9 Volante in bordeaux this morning on 290.
Saw two different Lotus Elise/Exiges on LSD last night. One orange, one Lotus like green with a yellow band. These things are becoming prevalent (I don't mean this in a negative way, but they are not so exotic anymore). Saw several of them at Road America over the weekend.
Black 612 with black rims outside of the Peninsula this afternoon. Tony Tag a few days ago, gave me a nod and revved it actually.
I was at Simon's car wash and there were two identical black Bentley sedans there along with a Porsche turbo. This is why I love the place--my Ford Escape still got the attention as if my wife brought it in.
Webster and Clybourn, right behind the Webster movie theater. There's a White Glove car wash right on Clybourn, and they're next to it. It's a great setup they have--check it out. Nicely finished, not too expensive, a waiting room with magazines and free coffee, and a tip jar instead of the usual palm-job.
Red 348 Spider on 94 going downtown and Black F430 Spider and Blue G yesterday in Buffalo Grove. Tricked out 993 Turbo with GT2 wing on Lake Cook this morning.
Red Mondial Cabriolet on Sheridan yesterday afternoon outside of Wilmette(pulled into a real nice lakefront house too). Red 355 spider on green bay road in Lake Forest near Fort Sheridan. I waved, you were having too much fun to notice Grigio 360 couple on Hollywood coming off of LSD and heading north on Sheridan. Nice rides, all of you. Oh, and a black Bentley GTC turning onto Ridge road in Lake Forest.
