    Hey Robbie,

Talk about tape...did you see the Red Maserati Spyder (# 92) car above? The "Entire" front end is covered in Blue tape! As for the VIN's...the # 33 car is LetsJet, who I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to meet.

Great to meet you guys too. Awesome event! There were WAY more Ferrari's at this summit point event than at the Ferrari club event at VIR.
I had a blast in little beater 911. Amazing the difference in performance street tires and R compound slicks.
I went from doing 1:36:00 laps to 1:32:90 when I switched to the R compounds for the last 2 sessions!

Oops...my bad. I thought this was you? But looking at your avatar and based on Potxoli's comment I guess I was wrong.

Sorry about that! I too wouldn't mind the # 33 360 GT. That think was super loud!!!

    Hunter,

The reason there weren't that many Ferrari's at VIR was because that event wasn't advertised enough. John Dowling made numerous posts. But I think it also had to do with timing because that weekend also happened to be the Reading Concours.

That was my first time at VIR and even with the turn out that we had, it was a great weekend because the weather held up! The Reading concours wasn't a complete washout, but they had some heavy rains that put a damper on things.

VIR is a great track!! Next time we'll have a lot better of a turn out. We just need to advertise a lot more in advance! :)

Likewise. I saw several people who I "though" might have been you guys, but I would've felt like an idiot introducing myself only to find out it wasn't you guys. Hopefully next time we will recognize eachother and finally meet.

    Great shot's by the way!!

I just got back home and I will be uploading pictures from today. Black Scuderia was the highlight, I couldn't believe it was there. I also got a lot of video from the 2 days and will edit a quick preview together for tonight.

Chris, I met David and he said that I had just missed you, too bad another time, definately going back in October and will hopefully have a D300 by then.

What?!? A Scud was there? I saw the weather report and thought it would be better if I didn't go. So I bailed today. Now I'm kicking myself for not going. Please post pics!!

I buy one roll of 4" wide tape (u should no how long 4" is, LOL!) and then put the stronger yellow racer tape over top to secure the painters tape down. It works perfect at keeping the marble from marking the paint.
