September 2008 issue of EUROPEAN CAR magazine: The article is entitled "Special Forces - cars that broke the mold" by Colin Ryan "These are machines that put the icon into iconoclastic, the ones that shook up the status quo and wielded irrevocable change on the automotive landscape. The number of subsequent vehicles influenced by cars in this collection justifies their titles of mold-breakers" The very first car featured is the Lamborghini Miura. "At a time when Ferrari as still making front-engined cars exclusively and conventional wisdom dictated that a mid-engined layout was too hardcore for a road car, Lamborghini came out with the amazing Miura... its still one of the most beautiful cars ever..." The article also features other benchmark machines such as Porsche's 550 Spyder, Alfa Romeo's BAT cars, Mini's Cooper, Citroen's SM.... The car featured in the article is Miura 4870.

Its nice to hear those numbers as a Miura owner but I personally cant justify them for a modified SV.
I guess ex-Shah and ex-Cage Miura ownership has something to do with it. Love that thing . . . but then, I never drove it.
