The Bugatti sold on Wednesday (or at least it was being cleaned for shipment on Wednesday).

I have a couple cool pictures of the Reventon that I will post when I get them all resized.

You're going to love it. I've gone back three times just to see it. I'm kind of doubting the "73 miles" unless they were all with the rear tires spinning, those things look like they have a good couple thousand on them. Understandable I suppose since that's how I would drive it.

I'd do the same thing if I lived a little closer, shoot, I'd probably stop by every week to check out their newest arrivals. I agree with you, like Roy says "Drive them like they were meant to be driven, if you want to look at one, buy a poster!" The only other time I've seen a Reventon was @ the LA Auto Show from about 20 feet away, looking forward to being able to see one up close and personal! Pics/Vid when I get back.

    Thanks for posting the pics!

When you come you should bring $100. When I went the second time there was a gentleman sitting in it, and when I asked I was told that he paid $100 just to sit in it, and the day before that a man paid $200 to do the same.

If they kept halving the price I suppose it would be down to $25 tomorrow. ;)

if it does not literally fly, it isn't worth $2.5M+. period. that is just ridiculous.

I just went and looked at it. it's nice. but it's not 2.5x nicer than a McLaren F1 (not even half as nice). it's not 4x nicer than the F40 that I lust for sitting right behind it.

it can't get me to Vegas and back in under an hour like a nice used jet one could get for $2.5M. it can't spirit me away up to hover over Alcatraz and take in the magnificence that is the Bay Area like the beautiful helicopter one could get for $2.5M.

(seats only two + stuck on the ground + slower than the Veyron at 2x the price) < $2.5M

The "Fartmonster" must have been everything he was hoping for if it's now clear across the country, at yet another dealer, with 73 miles on it ;)

Will people ever realize Reventons aren't being bought for anything other than collector value, or maybe even just because they like the car?

Limited to what, 20 cars? Sounds like more of a collector car than the Pur Sang Pu Tang **** that Bugatti keeps putting out. Pretty soon there are going to be more "special editions" of the Veyron than there are of the normal ones. How people continue buying those to me is f'in hysterical.

They want $5 million for it? Cos, F1's are trading at $2.5m or so these days.

wasn't aware of that-- last McLaren F1 I saw sold for ~$1M, but that was some time ago.

20 cars based on a vehicle 1/10th the price, wiht options that are already showing up in the current lesser model (lp560)? Sounds great.

Can't think of any time lamborghini has done a special car that meant anything.

LamboLover-- I like how you initially refer to me with a "Will people ever realize..." condescending third-person reference  then follow it up by saying something so f'in stupid.

Or in other words, Reventons are either bought to re-sell or to keep.

Are there any other reasons to buy any car?

Saw the car yesterday, such a sinister looking machine. I've always had a soft spot for Lambos and always will, I love them. I personally think it is a stunning car, very overpriced, but pretty cool. Thanks to all the kind guys at SVAG, especially Mr. Pike...I said thanks for letting me film the cars, shaked his hand and everything, then as I was walking out the door he said hey, we have to take your picture with it before you leave. Opened the door, let me sit in it, and took my pic for free. Thanks again, very nice man :) Spent over an hour looking, photographing, and filming the car and this is what I came up with. Hope you like the video :) Remember to watch in 'high quality' mode, it's a LOT clearer!

I saw the one in Vegas last May at the dealer. The new owner was there picking up the car. He had paid 2Mil for the car. It is a cool looking car but is still just a $350K Lambo with fancy styling. I would take the Bugatti over that Batmobile any day

This is a no brainer. Lamborghini needs 20 no brainers. California only allows seven letters, but with 0 through 9 as prefixes and suffixes for RETARD, every single Reventon buyer can have a fitting personalized license plate.
