    Here's the official stuff:
    and his reaction:

I think justice has been done. The man is a scumbag, but I always maintained that the Nazi side to the story was a fabrication.

It was there, how it was explained away is a mystery, I mean why was he talking in German for starters, the NOTW IMO are guilty of embellishing the fact's maybe.

No doubt the judge is accustomed to this stuff anyway..;)

60k is a slap on the wrist. I'm sure the newspaper made tons more money with the story while Nazi Max' reputation is ruined.

    All around a perfect outcome.

He has a similar effect on me. However I have to say, that my favourite villain of the day has shifted from Mosley to Bernie: While I have defended him many times on here, I'm getting the uneasy feeling that he is starting to loose the plot and put $$$ over everything else in track selection. I was ok with weeding out a few of the more gokart like GP tracks in Europe and going global, but I'm starting to worry that he is going overboard with this.

Well you could be right, I'am not sure yet if moving the Brit GP is going to work, with the limited amount of cash they have said there spending so I suppose it's watch this space, but I was hoping Bernie would Hecklestone Max out of his job, but as he has failed this task I'm with you on it as in favourite villain..

I know. The sacking of the San Marino and Austrian GP was ok with me. Reducing 2 German GPs to 1 was ok with me. Moving Silverstone to Donington is also ok with me. Going global by having more presence in Asia Pacific is also ok with me.

    But:
    - The sacking of the USGP really hurts. Not just because I live here, but because it makes the Canadian GP the only one in North America. That's just not enough.
    - Having only one South American GP is also one too few. There should be a Mexican GP again.
    - Having no GP in Africa also makes no sense.
    - And while getting rid of the race at Magny Cours is a good idea, you cannot abandon France altogether. It has to be in the calendar.

But looking at Bernie's actions, he seems to be going for $$$ only and if that means moving it to underdeveloped nations only, then he goes for it. That's not a balanced view anymore. That's one sided and wrong.

It wasn't, but now that he has won that case he's now reportedly going to sue the newspaper for libel, which could rake in quite a bit if he wins.

FIA president Max Mosley has spoken of his regret that he will be remembered for his sexual habits rather than his achievements in motorsport despite his High Court victory over the News of the World.

Mosley won a privacy action against the British tabloid last week and was awarded £60,000 in damages – believed to be a record in the privacy sphere.

Emboldened by the judge’s verdict that there were no Nazi overtones to his role-playing activities with prostitutes, Mosley is now pursuing defamation proceedings against the News of the World and further lawsuits against media organisations around Europe.

But in an interview with the Sunday Telegraph, Mosley admitted that his work as FIA president – helping to establish Formula 1 as one of the world’s premier sports and advancing the cause of motorsport and road safety – would forever be overshadowed by the humiliating revelations.

“I have achieved a certain amount but now what I will always be remembered for is my private life – and that’s disappointing,” he said.

“The [News of the World] stole my image and my dignity.”

Oh I dont you just feel for him.......like what has his wife felt for the last god knows how many years..!! whatta tosser LMAO
