More of the small engines. Block's about 8". Guy was a farmer about 65. Built this all in his shop. I asked him what it was worth. Said he would never sell it, but was worth about $5K. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Michael, Beautiful work. But what are they for? Did he make them because he could? Then they are art.Wonder if you could get a video of them, the four and the eight, running and put it up on YouTube. I'd love to hear them fired up. But thanks for the pics, they're amazing. cheers, RE
Photos taken in Ecuador - 1) Statue on top of El Panecillio in Quito. 2) La Basilica. 3) View from the observation tower at the equator. 4) Self explanatory (although it's off by a few hundred feet as calculated with GPS). Yes, it is art. Look at the oil in the exhaust. Running about 3000 RPM at idle. Pretty quiet. Started it with a Dremel type tool with indents that matched the nuts on the flywheel. This guy was a farmer in rural Ohio and he knew of the homemade Ferrari engine that has been posted here. He gave me a flyer on a 1st time show in October in my town. Pics of rotary plane engines. I'm amazed by these fear and the urge to set up a tiny machine shop.
Oh my oh my. For me, sunset in Tallinn. Second pic it's around 9PM i think, and it's something like 10:40PM on the first. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Last Sunday. This is scary 20' in front of you. I've broke a few bones and I felt every one of them watching this. Thumping down hard on a steel ramp with 20' to stop before a chain link fence.
