They're taking $1,000 bills out of circulation up here so "no", I don't know where you can get that bill for less than $50. Buy more than one if you can, I'm sure someone will fall for it.

If you look carefully, there is one silo too many. Obviously, a good forgery, but not so good that it is beyond detection to anyone reasonably familiar with Zimbabwean currency of higher denominations.

Your right... $50.00 US dollars equals $2,704,350,000 Zim dollars.. So $50.00 is cheap!

Damn, I wish I could get that email back that I sent to South Africa !!!Idiot!!!

Think you missed a few 000s. $50 is worth $2,710,450,000,000 right now. That $100,000,000,000 note is worth about $2.

I'd read somewhere that over the weekend a Zimbabwe store was advertising a laptop for 1.2 quadrillion dollars...so that's $1,200,000,000,000,000.

I'd love to get one of these notes, but I'm not paying $50. $10 seems more than fair!

I've been eyeing them also. Anyone have a few billion to spare, I'd take one! (reasonably priced)

I figure my best chance is via email. Waiting for email message from Zibabwe (via Nigeria), send us $50,000 and we'll give you $500B dollars!!!! :)

I did buy 2 of these from ebay, so I'm already a dinar trillionaire, now I'm looking for the opportunity to upgrade to dollars!!!! :)

    (Yugoslavian Dinar note circa 1993)

BTW, Zimbabwe also has a 1 cent note out there, circa 2006. Change for your billion dollar notes.

I think this might be funnier to drop on a busy sidewalk as a prank than the fake-folded-$20-business-card.

Especially if conspicuously dropped by a guy dressed in traditional african dress.

Thanks for the post URO - that's cool, I am gonna get me some of 'dem.

I will wrap my Amex black (spray painted) in stack of hundred billion dollar notes, and make sure it's conspicuous when I go to buy things. I'll be ballin' like DS then!

Bank transfers command a special rate. A hundred billion dollars is worth US$5 at the official rate, US$1 at the black market rate - but just 30 U.S. cents in a transfer because by the time the funds are processed the Zimbabwe currency can be expected to be worth a lot less.
