430 wheels and tires on a 355?

Using reverse logic 430 rims fit 360's and 360 rims fit 355's so perhaps 430 rims will fit a 355. I have not seen it done but I really like the idea, I think it would look awesome.

 

It can be done Robbie, but the wheel off-set is different.

To do it properly, the hub of the 430 wheel would have to be machined to remove material so the wheel does not stick out as much when they are bolted onto the 355. I would LOVE to see 430 wheels on a 348/355.

The 360 wheels bolt onto 348/355 but they do stick out a little past the gaurds IIRC.

 

+1 ........... the stock rear 430 offset will stick out too far on a 355.... ........ though as Pap mentioned ............ if there is enough hub interface material to remove say 10-15mm without compromising structure ........ then they should look pretty damn good ... !!

 

Are these 430 wheels on this 348 possibly? It looks like it, but they fit nicely from the pic.

They certainly look great. I think they are Novitec wheels.

 

Robbie the offset is all wrong. I've done a lot of research and have had them on my car. I wish I took a picture.

They will not fit.
