Ferrari(artist) Sketches for Greeting Cards

    Been doing these for sometime using shots i've taken over the years at Ferrari shows, but i end up using them shortly after drawing them... I finally have a few done in bulk so i though i'd start a thread on these and continue when i make more...

    These 15-minute drawings are for small cards (6 1/4") using waterproof ink, and in some cases watercolour paint for a splash of red or yellow or whathaveyou.
    Also, some act as a "preview" for myself as to whether a full-sized painting might be in order...

    Using some of my 100s of shots from the recent FCA Nationals in Toronto for these.
    More will come as a finish them; from this show and others...

    I want these to be an ongoing thing... doing a few each week...
    I try to keep the drawings quick and fresh, not finished detailed renderings by any means. As mentioned we are talking 15 maybe 20 minute drawings.

    The 599 i took down at Yorkville, Toronto might be up next....

    Finished a couple of 599 "on the street" shots.
    Along with a special one of a certain special P4... :)

    coming up later today... they are still in the camera so i need to do some cropping and colour balancing and stuff...

    I really like the Sketch Style! Those are all beautiful!

    I hooked up with a gentleman when I was volunteering at the MOTO GP Race at Laguna Seca. He wants to go through my picture archive so that he can use them for some paintings. If and when that ever happens, I'll be sure to post.
