Whichever one is going to be able to sew me up the best.

Shirt and jeans is never acceptable for any professional. Not even nurses do it in a work environment.

Business casual seems most appropriate if they are not in a position where scrubs or a white coat are more widespread.

I thought you related to doctors who use other doctor's stethoscopes and who have pictures of other doctor's medical degrees in other doctor's offices, hanging on their own walls.... :)

WGAF what they're wearing? Why should it matter to anyone in the real world?

    Oh wait................. ;)

    Huh?????

You know, at first I thought of putting in that played out "Bunny with a pancake on it's head" pic but then I realized a picture of a female posing with 22" biceps and an extreme V-build wearing bangs would be more appropriately bizarre....

Do you have any idea where I can find such a picture? :)

Hmmm, seems like Karen (Venusone) got over putting her kitty to sleep very quickly...see 'The Pink Shot' thread, and easily.

Since she never made a reply in that thread, not even to those who showed compassion and sympathy, I find this new thread she started to be rather bizarre. Again, my apologies go out to you whom I chastised in 'The Pink Shot' thread for showing no mercy; I was wrong. :(

I'm beginning to think that the best policy is to NOT reply to any threads she starts........

    LMAO! Ravashing Rick Rude?

Don't think I've ever seen a doctor that was not wearing a tie at least. If not a white coat as well.

I dont care as long as they patch me up...one of my shoulder dislocations was fixed in a small town ER the doc had to drive in from his farm to put my shoulder in...muddy jeans, flannel shirt and big damn belt buckle. I think a surgon with a really country accent may make me a little nervous thougs

Dad wears dress pants, dress shoes, and a nice shirt - typically a nice polo-like shirt. Typically a sports coat over it of some sort. I think he takes off the sports coat and puts on a white lab coat when he exams patients.

    Always looks professional.

My main issue with doctors is that they constantly prescribe more pills to combat medical issues. Once you get on the prescription paper route you never get off of it. The new buzz word for the year 2008 is Diabeties, soon everyone in America will have it. Its all because of the junk food that we buy in the US. If you go to Europe and eat regular foods you will not have an issue.

A polo shirt and jeans/slacks is fine by me, that is how my doctor dresses in his clinic............it's his/her brain that matters........not his/her clothes.

My doctor wears all kinda stuff, but I could care less. She's the best doctor I've ever met. She likes to fix the cause of problems, not cover them up with pills. This lady is amazing:

I don't really care what a doctor I go to wears.

I did, however, have a consult with a plastic surgeon who had a couple buttons on his shirt undone and his big belly sort of hanging out. I have to admit that was somewhat offputting.
