    It was in Thailand or the Phillipines, they were making an example of illegally imported cars.......they were real ones..

    Actually, as I recall, they are having a big problem with thieves stealing high end cars and removing the engines. After they have the innards, the thieves leave the car and the authorities recover the body sans drivetrain. A few weeks later and the car heads to auction where the thieves buy it for a song and reinstall the engine. At that point, they legally own the car.
    With this example, the authorities actually did destroy a real 456 to prevent this from happening.
