i love the way the 355 spider looks, especially in red. most red spiders i've seen have tan covers over the ragtop, i guess because ferrari wanted to match it with the tan leather interiors. i would argue that the covers would look better in black, matching the black dash in a two-tone tan interior (and especially if you have a rear challenge grill). what do you guys think, black vs tan top covers

let me give you an example, i swiped this from skipper's avatar...

I think the tan looks more upscale, assuming a tan interior. You do need to be a fanatic about keeping it clean, though.

But I like the GTS best - no fuss, great lines. ;)

Black cover with cream leather seats looks all wrong IMO. In the picture above my post is a car with black cover and black seats so of course that will look good, just as a car with a cream cover and cream seats will also look good. But a mix and match does not look as class IMO.

I'm speaking to a custom body shop about making a hard boot body color or a removable hard top for the F355 spider

I'll keep you posted in the future

Nope wrong, thats not a hard and fast rule. My car has a dash that is half black and half cream from the factory. And i have a mate with a full cream dash and doors that came from the factory. Also some bits that would be black on one car is cream on others like my mirror corners. Also some airbag wheels from the factory come in two tone as well, i havnt got one of them.

please post a picture of your dash. i'm interested to see what it looks like. btw, if there is any element of black on the dash, wheel and panels, a black cover would match and look great imo
