Today I stopped by Tuesday Morning and found these. I didn't already have any of these so I was pretty happy. I know they aren't the best quality but I don't like spending too much money on my toys. Sweet! Nice grab, for the price Hotwheels are pretty good looking on the desk. What is the logo on the cars? I'm here in Valencia California, I'm ganna check them tonight.
It's the "Ferrari Relay" decal. It's from when Ferrari passed the baton all around the world for the 60th anniversary. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I found some of those on Winners in the price of $13.00 CAD, but I am not sure if there is any Winners in Ontario.
the Winner's over here aren't exactly a hot spot for models, they're toy section is usually full of baby toys or dolls, and the rejected toys that people seem to open and see what's missing, let their kid play with it until its time to leave the store and shove everything back in with the box still open LOL
That's the type of store we are talking about.. Marshalls is great if you know clothing labels, I find dress shirts and shoes (Puma, Nike) for myself, my 'girls' bathing suits (last season) (Calvin Klien, DKNY, Billabong, SPEEDO) stuff like that, no telling how these cars got lumped into there...ROSS is a rival, in the same format.. Tuesday Morning is great for housewares, kitchen, crystal (Dansk).....but they have a Toy Section also where these have shown up, but there's no solid inventory at any store, so it turns into an Easter Egg Hunt. Big Lots used to get quality 1:18s, but I have not seen that in some time... I'll make a pass on Friday and see what I see......
These cars/ The "Ferrari Relay" ones were for sale for 9.99 @ Amazon.com a while ago. They lasted not long, so I couldn't grab any.
LUCKY!!! I was so close. Actually I was really close, I made a dumb mistake and wanted to see if there were more for 9.99 Ferraris and in that time, they sold out, I had the F50, F40, the 250, and the 612 in my cart. Guess I got to greedy. Still makes me sad to see the price go up.
Thanks for the post on Tuesday morning having the Hotwheels Ferraris. I went there last night and got the same cars and also a silver F40. Still at 14.88. Thanks again!!
I asked the manager at the store in my area to call me if she gets any Ferrari or Lamborghini diecast in. She said that she would but I'll check periodically just in case. I pass by the store on my way to and from work. I'll keep you guys posted.
Still no luck at my local Tuesday Morning but on Sunday I picked up a sliver Enzo and red 575 GTZ Zagato at ROSS; $12.99 each.
