Anyone know this Carrera GT? (orange with orange rims)

No idea, but they are probably going after the Gemballa Mirage look.

 

i have seen it before on here, did this not get the Gemballa makeover? Monaco at some point?

 

I seem to remember a thread from several years back where this one was for sale at some outrageous price.

I don't think so, that car has the full Gemballa treatment. Unless that link Kieran posted is a before shot.

 

I think it all started with a full page ad in the Dupont Registry which advertised the car as a one of a kind all orange that was sure to gain in value blah blah blah. They were asking something outrageous like $600k for the thing and then a thread was started here about it. This would have to be two years ago if I were to make a ballpark guess.

 

The one in Monaco had the grey TechArt spots on it.

I think ExoticLover has seen this C. GT, though.
