I was in NY this weekend, just got back. In the third picture down there is what looks like a white scuderia in the background - got any shots of that car? Also, any lambos there?
Great cars and people. At least two scuds and a couple of Strads as well. 200+ exposures and missed the one you want. O man, I wish I knew. I would have loved to have gone. (and dragged your lazy butt too stu) Is that Dan's Scud and Miura? Great pics!
I found this. Oh yes there were some from Santa D'Agata. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
really enjoyed it this year. dragged the family along this time - we showed up early and had to leave early. only ran into a few fchatters.
Anyone else find the non-Ferrari organizers woefully incompetent? They asked me if my BMW was in the show. They asked another guy on a Harley if he was displaying it. I know most were volunteers but even the people who seemed to be in charge didn't have much of a clue. The guy parking at the regular entrance was a tool. The Ferrari corral seemed well-organized at least, so hats off to you if you're online.
It is a volunteer operation and a bit casual but in my experience all involved are quite helpful. At least they kept the German's sequestered at the bottom of the hill

Yep the Scud and Miura were mine. The Miura won outstanding Lamborghini, so that was nice A nice day and the weather was great until the drive home. I discovered that the Miura wipers do work, but only wipe the bottom 1/3 of the screen requiring a rather interesting driving position in order to see!
And a few Brits as well - Why do they allow non Italian cars on the lawn. That said, my personal favorite was Alex Roy's BMW. At least he was half way up the hill in the vendor area - that's fair. It was early and had a chance to talk with him for a few minutes. My initial impressiion of him after reading his book was that he was one crazy guy. And that he is! After talking with him, discovered that he is a nice guy, very down to earth and approachable. It was the best part of the show for me.
was there with my lambo. great showing this year. i think i was the only one revving! didn't hear too many f-cars revving the engines?
What an amazing show, so many fantastic cars that it was almost too much to see. Like visiting the Louvre or something; too much to see in one day. There should be a spring and fall Tutto, and Larz is a great venue. Porschefest at Larz on 9/8 is pretty mundane in comparison.
I'm a little dissapointed... the only Dino I saw was the yellow one inside the museum! Where were the other two that are pictured on page 1? It looks like they should have been at the top summit in the main Ferrari display... Did they arrive late or leave early?? Also, I heard that all the cars were going to be started at 12:00 PM... but that didn't happen while I was there. This was my first attendance and thought it was great if a little unorganized. There were Ferrari's intermixed all over the place and I kept thinking I was going to miss some (and it looks like I did with the Dino's). I was also hoping for a little more vintage Ferrari's but it was still awesome. Even the wife and kids enjoyed it and thought the venue was fantastic!
The Dino's were at the summit in the main Ferrari Display area. I saw them around 10AM, but I don't know how late they stayed. In terms of the engines being started, I think some owners (myself included) aren't thrilled with the idea of starting their engines, which after a few hours of sitting are cold, and then revving them. Best regards, Dino
You just have to keep going to the Tutto to spot one. Last year there was an F40. The only Enzo I've seen at Tutto was when FoNE brought one to display, I believe in '05. Best regards, Dino
