I own a 1995 F355.....I am in need of my 3rd manifold in 3 years. (2 right, 1 left) Can anyone help me locate a used passenger side manifold? Yes I know I should have invested in new, but it was the $$$$$ at the time. Same as today.... Thanks Mike
Actually, today it is MUCH MUCH worse. OEM 2.7 manifolds have doubled (yes, you read that correctly) in price since last fall.
Sorry to hear about your troubles... if you can't spring for the new ones from Daniel, you might try here: http://www.automotix.net/partshotline-ferrari-f355_gts-requests.html or here: http://www.specializeditalianrecycling.com/ferrari-parts/355.html Don't know what they charge, and have no affilliation... just trying to help. Also, wasn't there a thread here somewhere about repairing the headers??? Mike in Kuwait
Honestly, just have it fixed by a local competent muffler shop. I have just had the right header fixed on my car and it is perfect. Cheaper than new, better than secondhand.
Check out Fabspeed headers, much cheaper than OEM and lifetime warranty. Certainly will save labor in the long run...
I have heard about 355 header problems, but can someone please elaborate on what the problem is? thanks!
To my Ferrari Friends, In between my whimpering about the manifolds always failing, I decided to buy a set of Fabspeed headers Will let you know after all the work is finished....sometime in Sept. Thanks Mike
Hello my Friends Just got my 355 back from having the Fabspeeds installed..........OMG, they are fantastic....bolted to a factory system, super mellow sound, rough and rumble when called on.....no more Volkswagen exhaust burble..... Installed to perfection by Christian at Black Horse Performance in Oakland Park, Fl..... Have many pics will attach tomorrow... Christian said the Fabspeeds were eveything that the company claimed,, 100% replacement for the crap factory manifolds, fit was perfect Mike
I recently removed a set from a 2.7 and I know they are available as they are still on the shelf here. I will cointact the owner and see if he want to part with them. I have built a jig to pressure test the headers off the car but they were not making any noise when removed. What are you trying to say Daniel??? You have to make yourself clear on this. Dave
