For past few years, F1 has been boring without MS. That is all.

Funnily enough i feel the opposite, no one can knock his ability but it is nice to be able to see others getting a look in.

Its not been boring to be fair, but i do feel its not the same! I just wonder what MS would of achieved with the 2007 / 2008 cars!

I would have liked to have seen Senna race MS, while both MS and Senna were at the top of there games. But of course that was never passable because MS was best in a Ferrari years after sennas death. Very much the same as most would like to have seen Tyson v Ali in both there primes.
Today i would have liked to have seen MS racing LH during my life time time. Even if he came out of retirement just for one race. I think the build up and race would be remembered and a classic.
I am basing this opinion on that fact that i truly believe that LH will be one of the greats in the future and as dominating as MS was in a Ferrari.
And dont start all your attacking antics , this is just my opinion as to what i would like to see.

Certainly we can miss Michael Schumacher, but the sport is definetely NOT boring without him. Part of me is glad he is not around, so different drivers have a chance to shine.
Also, we probably would lose some of the more debated topics here on FChat.

Three drivers at the top of the WDC points, a fourth and fifth still with mathematical ability to win the championship, I believe 5 WDC points lead changes so far, first time podiums, first time winners, supposed #2 drivers beating the supposed #1's, the second group of cars not far frm the first group (Ferrari/McLaren), etc.

It just can't get any better than this until the aero rules change next year and potentially there will be real on track passing an parity amongst the cars.

There really should be a spoiler alert on this thread. There may be people out there who haven't heard he retired yet:)

I would agree with "different", but not "boring". If anything, it became boring with MS's dominance at times. Mika was good, but I never considered him to be Michael's equal. And there was obviously nobody else in the sport at the time who could challenge his or Ferrari's performance.

I would have loved to see a race between Ayrton Senna, Michael Schumacher and Juan Manuel Fangio.

I don't think it's boring, it's just that we don't see the full commitment
to winning and the interest in what's happening with the cars development etc., like Michael had.
All these young kids are *****ing all the time about nonsense. there are a few that I think have
the potential for the same passion that Schumacher had, namely Vettle. You see his hunger to
do well, and when he doesn't he takes it hard. When he does well he's just bonkers with happiness.

Its not boring for sure. If Mike stayed around he would have killed the field today thus making it boring. The Ferrari would be developed much better than it has been and it wouldnt even be close. I was hoping Mike would have stayed around 1 more season to make it over the 100 wins mark. That would have been awsome to see. I still think he could win right now even in the underdeveloped Ferrrari. They are saying that Golf has more spectators tunning in since Tiger Woods is out and the reason is that it is less predictable.

it is boring for us MS fans who miss his brilliant races, focus, drive and input in making Ferrari a F1 powerhouse. with the trio of Brawn, Todt and Schumi gone, yes, it certainly is nice to see botch pitstops, idiotic strageties and poor reliability making a consistent shootout for the driver's championship! as a previous thread pointed out, Luca brought this one himself!

It is a lot less boring.

The last season could have been made into a movie and this one too looks like it goes down to the wire. That's a lot more entertaining than watching MS wrap up the title halfway through the season.

I was happy to see him go, although fortunately he did stay long enough to be beaten by Fernando. Ahhhhh, the happy memories.

all MS' absence has proven is just how great a driver he really was. When he was around very few could challenge for the WDC now there's 3-4 possible driver's. Yes it makes for better racing but still how anyone can argue that MS is not the best driver ever is insane.

That is a matter of opinion.

There are plenty of arguments for drivers like Senna, Clark, and Fangio to mention but a few.
