Very nice 328 Jeff. Thats the first 89 argento 328 that I've seen. I guess your car must have been built a little before mine. My red/crema/red '89 328 has a March build date and is # 80929. Also the original selling price for your car is not surprising, back then many dealers were selling 328s for $15-20K over list. She'd a beauty Jeff, enjoy her. Best regards, Dino
That was the previous poster, Bill, who's car sold for $100K. My car's previous owner paid sticker for it(was ordered-not on the lot), I think $84,500 give or take. Thanks for the kind words. Jeff

There was confusion on some of the interior color names. If I remember correctly, 'beige' was translated into a tan color by the factory. To order U.S. 'beige', one had to specify 'crema'. Would have to dig up my order confirmation letter to confirm, but as I remember, it originally had 'beige' listed. I double checked with the dealer, and it was changed to 'crema', as I really wanted U.S. 'beige', -not- tan. Worked out ok when the car showed up, so I was good to go
Just thought I'd add my name to register. I own 65033, already on the register, but under one of its previous owners.
i was hoping someone might see gabriella and recognize her. there was no lineage on her and the service records are nonexistant except for the 30k major done just prior to my purchase. it's a pity, she is so wonderful!

'Beige' is not 'beige'...in Ferrari lingo, 'Beige' is a darker, almost tan color...to get the U.S. version of 'beige', one has to order up 'crema', which is more of a cream/beige color to those of us on the western side of the pond.
Well...here's a pic of me in the car just before the PPI showing the beige or tan interior, whatever the heck it is!
1) 1989 - 83003 2) GTS 3) Tan/Black interior Red Exterior 4) Regina, Sask. Canada 5)How do I check production date on a Euro car?
According to the info I have 83136 built in Aug 89 was the last 328 GTS The last GTB was 83017 The last US GTB "Might" have been 82906 The last US GTS is 82960 and resides in a rather large private collection in the East. It still has delivery miles on it.
that's "Beige" (often discribed as "tan" or "Sand" or "Saddle"), Mike, the step darker is "Cuoio Naturale" (often discribed as "brown"), the step lighter is called "Crema" (often discribed as "Magnolia", "Bone" or "Sabbia" (what is a Factory-used colour-term as well)). Matthias Urban www.vinbook.com
