This isn't an ad or anything. Not connected in any way. But I was just at the
Mercedes dealer in Tacoma, WA (actually in Fife) picking up my new E350 and
noticed they still have a beautiful black 2006 SLR in the showroom - totally new,
but just been sitting. Eric Anderson is the guy who is handling it, and given
it's now 2 years old, if you're looking for an SLR I have a strong feeling you can
a SCREAMING deal on it from the original MSRP that I think was around $450K.
Again, I have no connection - just saw it and drooled. I won't post their
number - but I'm sure if you're interested you can figure out how to find Eric
at MB Tacoma - he worked VERY well with me and got me a great price
    on the new car.

So here's some pix of my new E350. It's only about a year old and has only
6000 miles - got a great price too! Awesome new ride - traded in my failing
2003 E500 and hopefully now will get a bit better mileage.

Sat in one a while back and it seemed a little bit cramped for a car that has 40 feet of hood.

I assume you mean the SLR? Yes, I agree. SO SMALL inside with
a big black football field in front. Could be used as a small aircraft
carrier I should think. But still a WAY cool car. For my $450K though,
I wouldn't even consider it - F-car or Lambo first....

But just wanted to let folks know there's a potential for a screamin deal
on an '06 that's never been driven but a few miles.
