    The wife's 355 is at Symbolic for the 30k service. Besides all the mechanical work being performed, I thought it would be a good time to do all of the interior, and get rid of the sticky bits. I know there are a number of companies supplying parts, but what are the opinions of those that have done the install. Who has the look, quality selection. Also are there any aftermarket C/F switches available for the windows and such? I just want to have it all done while it's in the shop.

    Are you replacing all the parts with CF because you like the look or just because you don't want to mess with refinishing all the interior pieces? CF = $$$$$$$, refinishing = $$

    There are a few Fchat sponsers that sell interior CF pieces...

    Also remember CF is made 2 ways usually---full CF parts or CF sticker overlays---CF parts $$$$$$$$$$, CF overlays $$$$$$

    My dad's 355 has the CF in the center console. Looks fantastic and when the sun hits it, it looks even better!

    Another thing to consider is alot of full on CF parts are made when ordered---most companies do not stock that stuff... I have heard of guys waiting months for pieces to arrive....

    I have a full CF center console, radio panel and center gauge panel made out of full CF by Valence. Workmenship is perfect. There is no question about their quality. They took awhile to make the parts but that is because they would not accept anything then a perfect piece. I will post pictures later.

    I agree--I have heard of waiting times ranging from weeks to 9 months....They USED to be a sponser here, but no more...

    Tomorrow morning we'll have 2 full sets of genuine Ferrari F355 Fiorano carbon door sills here. :) One is headed to California, the other remains "available".


    G.D. DHL had it blocked in customs for the past two days, along with 60 kilos of other stuff too. Ask David -- I'm spitting tacks right about now.

    I've got to hear details.

    as for CF, I'm getting a bit tired of cleaning/fixing the leather areas...LOTS of work as this is a daily driver and, well, I do need to eat sometimes.

    Their quality is not a question. My parts were great. The fact that I had to threaten them with federal wire fraud charges to get them however....

    Looks fantastic!! How hard were they to install? - did they replace the original plastic parts or are an overlay?

    Really easy to fit. The biggest hassle was unscrewing the A/C control unit and carefully screwing it back onto the new carbon part.
    I think the whole thing took about 30 minutes to install, being overly cautious to not break the A/C unit.

    They are not overlays, they replace the entire part.
    I can't say enough good things about MA Carbon. I'm not connected with them in anyway other than having some carbon parts from them that my girlfriend actually bought me for christmas and managed to keep her mouth shut !

    They are all car enthusiasts too, I think John has a 308 and Lane has a 996.

    Hi Darrell there are tons of after market F355 carbon fiber parts & are sponsor Powerspeed carries the carbon fiber window switch covers. there also complete dashmeter in carbon fiber another web site.
