    I am trying to get a handle on the schedule for fall and see where we have open weekends to fill.

    So far this is what I have:
    Sept 6-- FCA dinner at Lucianio's???
    Sept 13-- Trutlands
    Sept 20-- FCA Beer tour
    Sept 27--First Redeemer Show
    Oct 4-- Petite LeMans
    Oct 11-- Italian car show???
    Oct 18-- Roebling Road FCA Fall Outing
    Oct 25 --open--possible FCA garage tour???
    Nov 1-- Hilton Head Concours
    Nov 8 --FCA overnight to Highlands ???
    Nov 15 --(3) day track event, FCA at Daytona

    Charles, I hope you have better info than me on T. Rutland's because this past week I talked to John then Steve there and John said he thought it was Oct. 4th and Steve said he would check when he gets back from Monterey but he thought their picnic was scheduled for Oct. 11th. Maybe they thought I was talking about September????

    Rutland's had said something about holding it the same day as the Petit. I think the feeling was that a lot of their out-of-town customers would be in town for the race, and that they wouldn't want to spend all 9 hours at the track. But I don't like the idea, either.

    If nothing else shows up for 9/13, that should be the date of the excellent United Way car show at the UPS facility in Roswell, which a number of us have attended and enjoyed.

    I got confirmation of the United Way show at UPS on September 13 -- the announcement arrived in the mail today!

    I talked to Steve tonight and he did say that Ted had wanted to move the swapmeet to Oct 11 but i informed him that that was the Italian Car day and he will try to revisit the calendar this weekend.

    Charles, have you seen any confirmation for Italian Car Day? There's nothing on either the FLU or PanteraPlace websites, and the last time I talked to John Montgomery and Kurt, they hadn't heard anything either. October 11 would be the proper date, but is anything happening to make that happen?

    And for what it's worth, the October 18th weekend is also the weekend of the Euro AutoFest up in Greer, SC.

    All is go and we're working up our sponsorship currently.

    Next Saturday, 9/13, is the annual United Way Car & Bike Show at the UPS facility on Warsaw Road in Roswell. Entry is $15 and judging is People's Choice. (Last year, quite a few FChatters entered, and we all left with trophies!) Registration is 8 thru 11 AM and awards will be presented at 2:30. www.unitedwayatlanta.org/carshow for more. And afterwards, we could "caravan" to the gathering at Norman's Landing in Cumming.

    And as a possible substitute for 9/20, I got a flyer for the Alpharetta Rotary Club Car, Truck & Motorcycle Show at NorthPoint Center East. Entry is $25, and like the United Way show, judging is People's Choice. Time is listed as 8 AM thru 4 PM; registration ends at noon.

    And the same people are holding an "Onion Ring Rally" on the night before at The Varsity in Alpharetta from 6 thru 9 PM.
