Cancun already has the airport, restaurants, hotels and other infrastructure to handle the F1 circus...

By 2010 it looks like there will be well over 20 races on the calendar if Bernie keeps this up.

    That would be great!

I'd love to see another race on the American continent... just still seems ludicrous that we would have 1 above us, 2 below us and none actually here - the biggest market for most of the players in F1.

    Just seems bizarre.

Eh--why not? They have a night race, a hurricane could be good fun. Seriously though, Cancun was the talk a few years ago, and nothing ever came of it. I won't hold my breath on this.

Imagine an F1 race during a hurricane, AMAZING. Maybe we can have one down in Antarctica on ice.

well, to prevent it from reaching over 20 races, silly circuits like Hockenheim and Hugararoring should be dropped. too bad HUngary extended it's contract...

having said that, wants, and will be in the 2010 calender is a whole lot of difference. we still have Russia pending...

There WAS one during a hurricane a few years ago in Japan. Saturday was a complete washout and everyone was confined to their hotels.

Cancun would be awesome! Loved it there. Seeing a race and hitting up the clubs in one week would be PERFECT.

It would be great as I'm getting a tad tired of Montreal and for the life of me will never go back to Interlagos.

Having said that, Mexico tried to establish a GP in Cancun before and it faltered. So I'm not holding my breath this time.

I plan to move to Chihuahua, so I hope that is where the Grand Prix Of Mexico will land.
