There have been a few Enzo kit cars. NONE of them have come remotely close to even looking like the real thing. :):)

How would they like it if we(Anyone in general) made a replica out of their cars with a KIA RIO.

^Kinda impressive all the work he's gone through

But it's still a bit short... and how much would all that cost? I'm sure you'd come close to the price of a Gallardo when you were finished with a replica like that

Funny how in our little community that is a sin, and over in that little community it is applauded and heralded and welcomed.

I know it's heresy for this site, but I have to say that I'd consider acquiring an Enzo replica shell (if it was a really perfect replica). But absolutely not to drive on the road. I'd hang it on the wall of my garage as art or sculpture like some guys have done with ex-F1 cars. A bit like this:

It is, because if they created something new and different, it would be okay, but they are using other peoples designs and their hard work to make the same thing, ruins prices for Ferrari and the look of Ferrari.

It has no effect on the prices of real Ferraris.

Have to say I'd like to have one of those body shells. I would mount it on a Pro-Stock style tube chassis and have the absolute coolest bracket racer on the face of the earth.

    Your hero,

what is funny is he says "the int. has been done as the real enzo." now...i have not really paid much attention to what the interior of the enzo looks like, well besides the steering wheel, but that hunk of junk looks nothing like it...

    Nice foam work.
Yes, he is duplicating rather than creating, but it is still a matter of passion and aesthetic. To me, what he's doing is more meaningful than the 12 hrs. I'd periodically and ritualistically blow detailing the TR with cotton swabs and '000' sable brushes.

Besides, it would make a worry-free daily driver!

    Hunk of junk?

have you seen what the Infamous "Cyotie" kit car which is supose to be the Enzo looks like?. :D

All I can say is this that replica looks like the real thing compared with that other POS.

Nope not even close to the price of a Gallardo.

He paid less to build it than the price of a brand new C6 actually not to mention its got a TT Small block to not only would it be much cheaper than a Gallardo but don't be suprize if it would spank a Real one also ;)

That makes no sense at all creating and duplicating are practically the same thing.

If he completes this one of a kind replica id say it would be one hell of a car when its all said and done.

Presuming that you are teachable, let me educate you on the big distinction between creating and duplicating: you create something that no one else had before, whereas you duplicate -or recreate- what someone else had already done.
Both require alot of work, but only one is original. I can spend alot of time on an original composition of mine, or even more time preparing a Chopin piece, but I cannot rewrite the Chopin: only interpret it.
You probably have NO artistic blood in you, otherwise you would not have uttered that moronic statement as part of your misunderstanding of the compliment I was paying the guy.
    Have a nice day.

I wish someone would make a hybrid Ferrambo. Mix 430, a murc, an enzo, and whatever else looks good together. Technically it's duplicating several cars into one. Is that Creation or Duplication?
