I only caught the last end of the race, that was a pretty spectacular crash with eight laps to go glad that no one was seriously hurt.
Amazing. He was awesome in Oz and really, really good in the Nationwide race last year in Canada. He and Robby duked it out and Robby ended up providing a car for him in a later race (this one last year?). He's quite remarkable and along with Aric and a few others are the new generation...
"Wild thing" Kyle drove very well.Stewart or Ambrose had NO answer for him yesterday. What was Earnhardt Jnr and Eury Jnr thinking about....I bet Rick Hendrick's non too happy. Its good that all walked away from the accident, with Max Papis looking as though he was the luckiest of all
And he won from about 17th in the nationwide race the day before. And he deserved to win in Canada last week. If only the nascar series wasn't full of ******* and they'd race in the rain like the rest of the world, he would have won it eeeeeasy
I only caught bits and pieces of the race, as I was watching the ALMS on Speed. Did Ambrose pull some pit strategy to go from last to 2nd? He is a very impressive driver, I hope he makes the move up to Sprint Cup next year. Something like 32 drivers finished on the lead lap, would have been more if not for the big wreck towards the end. That has to be a record for cars finishing on the lead lap.
No pit strategy that differed from anyone elses, except for Jr's bone head strategy. Ambrose just plain drove to the front (Third) gradually and carefully throughout the race staying out of trouble. A brilliant drive in the subpar Wood Brothers car. Kyle Busch was his usual super fast, ring the car to death style. Even showed good team sportsmanship by letting Stewart by for 1 lap so he could get his 5 extra bonus points for leading a lap.
