This car seems to have a wide reputation. The blue 308 I posted about awhile back was very dirty, and literally falling apart, with a couple of large chunks of lower body missing...but, no smoke!
Giallo Murci with vents open on 30 westbound around Zion, about 7:30 or so this evening. A not so exotic Blue with white stripes Viper RT10 on Dalrock @ 66 around 1:00...
Shiny black Merc CLK63 Black Series. Absolutely wicked looking, especially in the midst of all of them thar pick-em-ups and ricers at a Logan's(?) Roadhouse (similar place) at the corner of South Dr. and Hulen, where Harrigan's used to be. Almost makes me want one.
I wouldn't be ashamed if I had one in my garage. Have you heard one? They sound insane! Got the chance to run along side of one in the canyons outside of Irvine when I was in California. You should hear the echoes off the canyon walls....
Saw this Maserati GranTursimo at PeiWei @ the Firewheel Mall. On the way home, someone in my car said they saw a Ferrari 360 Modena, I couldn't look. That was on Firewheel Parkway. Was over in Dallas yesterday checking on the BBi progress, then headed up to Addison to meet friends. Turning North onto the Tollway at NW Hwy, a White 360 Spider, top down, while I was waiting for my light to change. First I've seen in that color, and have to say, it was striking (may be a bit biased these days, though). Couldn't catch him. It must have been "Bring out your old Roller" day, too. First, a beautiful black Silver Cloud as I exited Mockingbird. Later, just prior to the Spider sighting, a pristine two-tone brown Corniche Convertible on Inwood, statuesque older lady at the wheel. Both were either very well cared for, or freshly restored (the cars!!! not the drivers). Oh, and a newer RR convertible, top down on the expressway. Meh.
Not Dallas, but still worthy. I was in Houston the last couple of days at Reliant Park for the Kenny Chesney tour, and was able to mingle amongst the Texan's cars. There was an awesome Hennessey Venom1000 convertible, black Maser QP (kind of generic now, I know...) and a grigio medio Aston DB9. A black 355 and Grigio 360 modena for sale at Expo auto on 45 in North Houston too if anyone is looking....
Spotted a white R8 on Hwy 69 near Atoka Oklahoma saturday. Right after that a neat old '50's Benz rusting on the side of the road, followed by a possible Tillman sighting ( big yellow Dodge Truck). Not Texas sightings, but the only fun vehicles I saw taking my last of 4 off to college. We are now officially EMPTY NESTERS !!!!!
Black Nissan GT-R on Loop 12 at Union Bower yesterday evening. I didn't know they were on the ground in the US yet.

Nice. I haven't seen anything nice at Firewheel in months. I think the last nice car I saw there was a Gallardo whose owner supposedly owned the theater (it was in a parking space directly in front of the theater).
Yea the orange w/(black or orange I forgot) rims! Never saw it, but heard about it. The only other stuff I seen there was a Viper and DB9
8/23/08 A black F430 northbound on Dallas Tollway. A red 360 w/challenge grill. Maybe CS? Was way far ahead of me. It was being hunted down by a grigio silverstone F430 and a 996TT northbound on 75.
Saw nearly the entire collection of Aston Martins yesterday. Silver DBS turning off Lemmon, white DB9 convertible driving down Lemmon, British Racing Green V8 Vantage on someone's driveway, and a navy blue DB7 on Oaklawn. That little dealership next to Dodge on Lemmon seems to be letting Dodge put their Vipers there as far as I can tell. They had two orange 2008s, and two reds.
He lives around there somewhere. I always see it on McCommas. The car is always dirty for some reason...
