Do you guys think he put the stock rims put back on at Butler Tire, and is going to get it shipped somewhere else for ANOTHER set of rims?

I wish he would do something different than matching the rims to the car...maybe some white rims would really set it off.

And on to today's pictures...this is gonna be long and most of the pictures are awful, I think something's wrong with either me or my camera.

That's a DB9 Volante. I tried to get a shot of this car but was deterred by the presence of the valets at Chops - did you take this photo from a car? If so, did you drive right into the circle they have set up for valets? I assumed that would earn me a harsh reprimand.

    Regarding cars I saw recently...

Monday evening at around 7:30pm, a black Ferrari 612 Scaglietti turning onto Peachtree near Lenox Mall.

This evening I wanted to see if I could spot Mayweather's Phantom and Lamborghini and sure enough, they were at Intercontinental - here's the Phantom Drophead and here's the Murcielago Roadster. Here is an incredible shot of a Phantom Drophead, SLR, 599 GTB, and Murcielago Roadster (plus a G37... normally I would be miffed about a "normal" car ruining the shot, but I love the G37 so much it's excused!). I encourage all those with some free time to head down and see these cars - the Pentastar-wheeled 599 GTB alone is an incredible treat, and seeing all of these cars together outside a show is a very unique experience. Here's a shot of the 599 next to the Murcielago Roadster.

Also caught a pewter-colored Aston-Martin DB9 down one of the side streets from Chops off West Paces and a yellow Ferrari F430 Spider at Terminus valet. All of this evening's spots came at around 8:20pm.

Yeah I drove up to the circle, stopped before I got to the valet guys and snapped a few pics. When I pulled up to where they were at, I rolled my window down and told them I was just passing through to take pics. They didn't seem to mind too bad since nobody was behind me when I came through, but I'm sure it would be different if they were busy and I was holding up the line.

We had to have passed each other at some point tonight because I took most of my pictures at about the same time as you and in a lot of the same places.

Those cars at the intercontinental are crazy! thanks for the pix

I had a good morning, too bad I was slow with the camera: I saw the Green Murcielago on Haynes Bridge in Alpharetta, then the Silver Carrera GT that I followed on Mansell yesterday is still setting in the service area at Hennessey. I turned onto Alpharetta Hwy and passed a black Gallardo convertible being followed by a Yellow Murcielago on a truck. Then I pull into work and there is a NSX-T setting here, unfortunately the only pic I have is of the NSX:

Not sure if Mayweather is leaving town or getting more cars shipped in but there was a sizable trailer (big enough for three cars) in front of the Inter. Con. around 2:30 or so.

One of my co workers knows one of the guys who was in town with Mayweather and he said they were leaving today. When I drove by about 20 minutes ago, both the Phantoms and I think the Lambo were gone.

Just saw the white 550 that West saw a few weeks ago, I was pulling into my apartment and it drove by and I couldn't let it go without getting a pic. The car is beautiful in person, I love seeing exotics in white.

Pretty good spots today. First it started off with a white GT-R on Georgia Tech campus at the 4 way stop near Howey Physics. License plate read "GTRRR". Pretty nice to find one of those on Georgia Tech campus....made my day. Also spotted a red 430 and a Aston DB9 at the restaurants on Peachtree road near the peachtree memorial dr. intersection. Also found new porsche turbo cabriolet in a private residence condominium. Owner bought it that day, and it was cooling down at his residence. My friend said that he followed an Audi R8 on his birthday into those private condos. Its really nice, entrace is SICK. Its pretty hard to find if you dont have a trained eye. Its near the same intersection at Peachtree Rd and Peachtree Memorial Dr. Its on the right if you're goin southbound on Peachtree Rd. Its called The Enclave and its behind the shopping center. Look on google maps. When you enter, it seems like your in downtown Paris. There is actually a mini-Eiffel tower there. If you go past it, and go onto the ramp, the condo is on your right. I recommend that everyone check this spot out, it is nice. Makes we want to travel back to Paris. Anyways, I have no pictures....sorry. Only had my pda camera...and it stinks. Happy spotting.

*Note that it is a private residence so go at your own risk.

I cannot remember when a Friday night in Atlanta did not produce at least several spots. I usually eat out in Buckhead Thursday through Sunday. Usually I make a pass before dinner and then after dinner ...the prime hours to spot. Tonight only one but one note worthy spot. This past Feburary 2008 a young female Ferrari owner (a Ms. Keyshia Cole ) wrecked her blue 612 Scaglietti shortly after delivery. There was a huge thread here on FerrariChat. Tonight I observed a black Ferrari 612 Scaglietti with black after market wheels with pink accents and pink painted brake calipers, with a young female african american behind the wheel whom I believe is Ms. Keyshia Cole. The car passed me on Peachtree in Midtown. No opinion on the calipers and wheels, but the car looked great.

That 612 is very very Tacky! OMG! You might as very well paint a mustache on the Mona-Lisa. Enzo is rolling over in his grave right now.

Yesterday I made the comment that the area was dry for the first time in a long time for spotting cars - today was a feast. It started with a red Ferrari F430 spider at Phipps valet. 2nd was a red Ferrari 599 GTB exiting I-285 and Paces Ferry. The 2nd spotting of this car at the same location. 3rd was a red Ferrari F430 spider with California tags on West Paces Ferry. 4th was a silver Lamborghini Murcielago on West Paces Ferry. 5th was a black Lamborghini Superleggera that I believe belongs to fellow Ferrari chatter "Sprite". 6th was the infamous blue Lamborghini Murcielago with the two tone wheels. 7th was a black Maserati Granturismo with after market wheels. 8th was a Blue Gallardo Roadster at Phipps valet. 9th was a silver Ferrari F430 spider at Chops valet. 10th was a Ferrari Dino replicar that had all the badging plus a Ferrari of Atlanta license plate holder. 11th was a yellow F430 spider with Florida tags at Phipps Plaza general parking. 12th was the same red Granturismo with two tone aftermarket wheels at "W".I'm having trouble uploading the photos. I will attempt to do the rest on Sunday...West

Nice spots as always, West. That Superleggera is awesome, the only thing I would change on the entire car is the exhaust tips, they look as if they should be on a 1970's muscle car.

    Spots of mine today:

    - red Ferrari F430 Spider at Chastain Park around 9am.
    - black Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera at the Ritz Buckhead at around 10am.
    - white Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 on temporary plates at Wieuca and Roswell (on the opposite side of Butler Tire) around noon.
    - blue Lamborghini Murcielago at Lenox Mall, and a great picture on the road outside Lenox Mall, at around 7:30pm. This is my first spot of this car! :)
    - red Ford GT on temporary plates pulling into Morton's in Buckhead at around 7:30pm.

Hi Andrew (Zonder F) I agree with the observation of the rear tail pipes of the Superleggera but when you hear this car at idle and when on the gas you know this car is special. That yellow Maserati Granturismo you shot several weeks ago with the after market wheels was a eye catcher I am still hoping to find it....... Anyway The Ferrari 246 GT Dino replicar was interesting to say the least I only wish it was the real deal.
