    Hello!

I posted a question in "technical QA" before (watch: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13981), i wondered if nobody knows what kind of signal comes out of our speed sensor...
As it is a common problem on our cars, anyone should have measured the signal output already?!?

So please help me to get my BECKER installed....

    Cheers,
    Alex.

I can't recall anyone posting signal waveform information for the 116987 speedometer/odometer sensor (and, unfortunately, on my TR there isn't an easy place to add a wire to measure without getting under the car), but try a search on "116987" for the threads that might have the information. Also, if you know someone else has used your navigation device successfully on another F using 116987, it most likely will work with the only difference being # of pulses per rev (but your unit is probably smart enough to learn that value).

    Great hit!

Although it's a different sender unit on early 308 and the later QVs, it may provide the same signal devices...
So i will try it out, and keep you informed!

    thanks,
    Al.
