The MIURA was tranformed subsequently by the first Swiss owner in the same Lamborghini factory like a SV in his estetics forms ( as many other owners of Miura of the 70 ) .

And regarding the comparison with the 288 GTO. I thing is not possible to do it.
The almost 20 years that separated them , are a divario too big.
The technologie of the auto in 20 years are all a world.............

Crepaldi was Ferrari concessionaire at milano from 1953 to 1994. when my friend purchased the car, it already had that plate. there is a crepaldi sticker at the rear window too. i think the car was originally delivered to crepaldi. marcel massini will know the details for sure !
the car is owned by chris evans today ?

Dirty GTO at Laguna Seca. It looks better than it is because it was foggy. Once the fog lifted, the dirt was really visible.

I guess some cat found a warm spot on the engine cover. Smart kitty.

I put 1500 miles on the car from the pre-historics through the historics on Sunday night.

Well thats 4.5 times as much total mileage as one particular 288 GTO has traveled in 23 years!

I sent you an e-mail on another issue...

Nice car! The 2 rear foglight seem to be added on later. Any info about that? Spanish DOT requirement?

I thought the GTOs had the rear "fog lights" as standard, but had to be removed for the US market because of DOT requirements. The cars are certainly wired for them and have the switch already installed.

Yes, they are wired with switch in place. However, the fog lamps were mounted by the works in anticipation of the car's destination country and its regulations, or by local dealers.

Steve I don't think they were fitted on all cars.

We have seen them mounted in the middle affixed to the lower valance directly above the gearbox, and on the lower side of either the left or right rear bumper, as shown in the collection of images below.

    Take your pick!
